Actually kajan cam you cover some subs from bottom closed guard. Like an americana, triangle fake and set up etc. How to slip out and take mount or their back, slipping out the back door set up and execute. Guilatine and Lastly trying to escape mount and transitioning to knee bar, heel hook or leg lock variation. Lastly if bjj isnt what you feel like doing next then how about best excersizes for conditioning for a long fight
I definitely am scared in an MMA context of eating a knee or kick when shooting! Do you have any drills to build the confidence to fully commit with head straight while shooting?
@@MrSpicabooo correct! But in pressure testing (i.e. sparring) I have a mental block when it comes to shooting takedowns with full commitment, and was wondering if there's any mental conditioning/confidence boosting drills that Coach has specifically to address this purely psychologically.

Or learn a good setup that you really feel good about and that confidence should lead into the TD attempt.
Is there any real life application of wresting on the street cus every time someone shoots a double, they’ll jus crash into a flying knee Edit: not tryna trash wrestling but as a sport it’s rlly good and would definitely be a starting point when starting mma like most legends(Jon jones,DC, Yoel Romero)cus of the knowledge of hip and weight placement and the general athleticism/explosiveness wrestlers have beat any sport.
Most people looking for fights on the street are not trained MMA or Muay Thai fighters. Most people swing for the fences and are clueless once someone grabs them. I’ve seen the double leg work on many street fights. Best thing to do is to avoid a fight on the streets.
You're a special kind of moron if you think street fighters can land a flying knee, when pro fighters trained against wrestling can't even land one 90% of the time
As a BJJ only guy, I can confirm I resemble all of these mistakes, lol!! Thanks, good stuff!
This is the best intro to wrestling tutorial I've seen, everything is spot on. Thank you Coach...
Mistake No 1. Accepting a fight against a ev or ov last name
Lots of good tips here.
Very good advice

Cover over under and clintch defense or cover slipping and guard excersizes

Wrestlers barely get caught by knees when fighting trained fighters you think an average chump would catch them?
@@carlossssssss5492no but average chump can do a rabbit punch or 12 6 elbow to spine or neck end thats all folks
