Those are great body shapes, I like them a lot actually My favorite would be that multi colored flake with the purple clear @ 4:25, that is just so beautiful! Thanks for the tour of these Ryan! Have fun!
The sticker and the pressed flowers are some of the coolest looking guitar finish ideas I've ever seen. I'm a designer and I've spent ages tinkering in illustrator trying to think of new colour combos for pickguard and bodies that are new but also tasteful, and its hard, fender really nailed it by the end of the 70s. Anything good i've managed to create has usually just been a slightly less aesthetic version of a classic. This resin finish or whatever these guys are making them out of is genius. They're not all for me but the ones that are are just noisy and confidently out there looking I fell in love with the look instantly. Really cool alt/garage/psyche look to them
You're the surf guitar guy - something surfing/nautical themed. Blues and greens work, but think about something like a fishbowl diorama (think a little castle and plastic diver, plus those colored rocks they put at the bottom of tanks). Or, they could do a mosaic of surf rock album covers. I hope that they're able to get dealers/distribution. This is a guitar that I feel like I need to try before I buy; not sure about the embedded bass pickup. Also: COLOR CHANGING GUITAR! Holy smokes, that's some sci-fi stuff right there.
2:34 This one. The flower power 90s stickers finish. That is the one. It hits me right in the childhood. That is the one I would choose and there’s no doubt.
I had extreme option paralysis when I chose the parts for my recent warmoth order. I ended up going with a silver flake body since it meshes better with the roasted maple neck, but the allure of a pastel surf-green/salmon/fiesta red and the bad-ass-ness of the Holo flake finish also pulled on me. It took about a month of deliberation, because in the end it’s a partscaster that has no real resale value but will certainly be a better guitar than anything fender can offer. I did Silver Flake, no pickguard (rear rout) dual humbucker (sentient and Pegasus SD), string thru Tele with just a 3 way toggle and a push pull coil split volume, roasted maple neck (24.75” scale) 6100 dunlop SS frets , hipshot open gear locking tuners. It’s gonna be a real sick guitar You want a holo flake finish, I have one on a Strat and trust me it’s unreal. You’ll never want a regular black guitar again.
The Z-shape is definitely cool. Being you, it would be better suited to have it configured for S-S-S or just S-S. If their design requires you to have the H-H configuration, maybe see if having humbucker-sized P-90s is an option. As for what color/content in the epoxy, you might want to take a trip to your local bead-crafting shop and see what's available. Or go to flea markets and yard sales to see what kinds of knick-knacks you can pick up cheap to make a "found art" original.
I would ask for Pinceton amps with all sorts of reverb pedals with a blue-green surf sparkle in the background.😄. Any of the others you like would be fine, I wouldn't be able to choose.
One important aspect to consider here, i think, is if you want to pick a finish that looks great, when you just look close at it - or right down on it. In contrary to, how it looks from a distance, like an audience would... Or even "mid-distance": The impression the look does, when it´s hanging on your studio wall? Ok, now I´m exaggerating! (I personally would choose a look, that´s I´d consider great from a distance, in case I´d get "caught" with it, playing live. But that´s just me. Here on my own. With zero gigs planned. And I´m even a keyboarder! 🤣) So - maybe I personally just would take the flakey golden one, with - yes - maybe a black or dark grey pickguard, because I assume, it is still a "loud" colour, but might stand the "test of time" better than other/ wilder options...
I can definitely see why you're overwhelmed lol, they certainly have some of the coolest finishes I've seen from a manufacturer so far. Love the reverse Explorer style shape and that big beautiful purple flake really caught my eye and I personally think I'd look beautiful with a nice solid black pick-guard on top. Good luck with your decision making Ryan (if you still haven't decided)
wow, these look insane. Never seen anything quite like it, that reverse explorer shape is super cool. I'd love the pink sparkle, wonder what sort of price these will be...
😊I prefer the more Strat-looking shape, but get what you like! The reverse-Explorer one would have to go in a stand that hangs the guitar from the headstock when you weren’t playing it, as it won’t lean up against anything. Colorwise I like the metalflake purple, and I’d get a coil-split for the humbucker. Too bad they don’t do a vibrato-maybe you can talk them into it!
Funny thing - I've spent the last week designing a custom body for my Steinberger Spirit headless guitar to give it a surfy vibe. Several designs look just like the Voltage model! I'd go with the Voltage in sparkly green or purple. They look heavy , though.
that gold explorer-ish one is the obvious choice, if your sticking to classic you. but dang, this would be the time to totally off the beaten path and switch it up. i like the purple sparkle, and the green one... shit, get some dinosaur stickers mixed with beach sand and throw that in the epoxy or something. fantastic artistry going into those axes...
Wow, it would be very hard for me to choose between shattered glass(maybe a mosaic), stickers and/or trinkets, and beadwork. I would probably find a way to do all of it. Definitely green.
I agree with your choice of shape. Thunderbolt I think it's called? For finish, given that it's a Mexican brand, I think something with a Day of the Dead theme would be really cool. You know, sugar sculls and all that stuff. That would be tremendous.
Choose one that is basic and barebones, and the other that has push/pull knobs and switches for multiple pick-up configurations to sound like different guitar types. The owner of Cream Guitars is going to be rich. He's on to something. The present problems with today's guitarists that he had explained made a lot of sense.
I saw new Vintage guitar in the surf guitars video, have you checked the new Revo series Vintage guitars?.....they seem quite unique and I can`t find any info yet
I want one of these pretty darn bad, but I'm wandering about some of the specs... what's the neck profile/thickness? Are the frets SS? Could we possibly get 24 fret one day? Either way they're beautiful and amazingly priced considering specs/build quality.
The backwards Explorer with the Blue with black Candy Deluxe finish is Absolute Dope. Hell how do you pick. Every finish in his designs says Win in my mind. $1600 starting is an insanely great value on a groundbreaking guitar concept like these. Congrats.
It is a very cool problem to have. You've already made their investment worth it, as I noticed them in your video yesterday. Neat designs. Suggestion: get a sparkle finish in the same color as your wife's eyes, and tell her it's so you can think of her every time you see it. It's always good to give your significant other a reason to be excited and happy about the massive guitar collection. 😉
you already have sparkle guitars... so you should pick one that is not a sparkle for the extra unobtainium vibe... However I can tell by the tonal changes in your voice as that you're just going to pick another sparkle, and to be fair the multi coloured flake with the purple clear is to die for. As you'll go with your gut regardless of the comments, and I (a total stranger on the other side of the atlantic) am going to briefly pretend like I know you, I am going to gamble that is the one you'll pick.
Ask them about a Bigsby (or some other Trem) build. For YOUR guitar..... it would have to be SURF Related Dude! Shell, a little Hawaiian styling..... mini surfboard, Palm Trees.... you get it RIGHT?!? (OR....... Something more Specific to one of the Bands your in! A little Dino action. )
ive thought about that, but a feature of their guitar is the brass plate that goes from neck to bridge. I wouldn't want to bypass that design concept if im going to cover their guitar. I do love having a wiggle stick though.
3:53 nice seeing you again! Love your channel AND Cream Guitars \m/
Palm trees and mini surfboards ..?! 😮 That would be cool?!!
Those are great body shapes, I like them a lot actually My favorite would be that multi colored flake with the purple clear @ 4:25, that is just so beautiful! Thanks for the tour of these Ryan! Have fun!
The coolest one comes into view at 5:47. The tiny skulls and flowers. Amazing.
I love the HSS style with the Calavera embedded in it. Looked very 3D. In fact all of them are amazing! 😍
The sticker and the pressed flowers are some of the coolest looking guitar finish ideas I've ever seen. The what seems like a knitted/beadwork inlay seems really cool, the effort involved.
2:34 This one. The flower power 90s stickers finish. That is the one. It hits me right in the childhood. That is the one I would choose and there’s no doubt.
Those are beautiful!
Nice problem to have :)
The more, brighter glitter the better
I love your shirt. Here Comes Science is unironically my favorite TMBG album
I had extreme option paralysis when I chose the parts for my recent warmoth order.

The Mexican masks at 5:30 or next one at 5:40 would be my pick. So nice colors and culture vibes.
I would ask for Pinceton amps with all sorts of reverb pedals with a blue-green surf sparkle in the background.😄.
Any of the others you like would be fine, I wouldn't be able to choose.
the terrazzo ones look super cool. maybe get collectible stamps or your kids drawings under the finish!

The blue with the black pickguard is sweet
wow, these look insane. Never seen anything quite like it, that reverse explorer shape is super cool. I'd love the pink sparkle, wonder what sort of price these will be...
Definitely go with the X shape, but I can't decide between the blue shattered glass and that Spanish tile, so gorgeous.
I was thinking little dino toys right before you said it. That Mother Mary guitar is pretty dope too.
100% support the purple shattered glass/shell option. But you’re absolutely correct! They’re all pretty baller!!
The Day of the Dead Skulls for the win, bro.
Very cool guitars! Have you held one yet? If so, are the epoxy resin models heavy?
The ceramic tile mosaic one right after the sugar skull was my favorite. How heavy though?
If you don't do dinosaurs then I will!
We can both do dinosaurs
That tile one reminds of the tables they used to have at Chili’s. think I want a Chili’s guitar. I feel God in this guitar tonight 😂
You deserve a Dundee
My favorite is the Strat-style model. As far as the finish goes it's either the green mosaic one or the sort of sea glass one.
Funny thing - I've spent the last week designing a custom body for my Steinberger Spirit headless guitar to give it a surfy vibe. Several designs look just like the Voltage model! I'd go with the Voltage in sparkly green or purple. They look heavy , though.
Super cool guitars!
I'd go for the reverse explorer with the 'diaramas' finish @ 5:12 and single coils
that gold explorer-ish one is the obvious choice, if your sticking to classic you. but dang, this would be the time to totally off the beaten path and switch it up. i like the purple sparkle, and the green one... shit, get some dinosaur stickers mixed with beach sand and throw that in the epoxy or something. fantastic artistry going into those axes...

Well if you're going for Cream, Clapton actually played an SG during that time.
I've never been one for going for superficial esthetics. What the guitar sounded like was the most important thing. But these guy's finishes, amazing.
Mood ring finish, that way it can change with your playing style.
Why is it always green??
I agree with your choice of shape. Thunderbolt I think it's called? For finish, given that it's a Mexican brand, I think something with a Day of the Dead theme would be really cool. You know, sugar sculls and all that stuff. That would be tremendous.
I love that sort of rose/pink sparkle explorer. If it had some kind of singles that'd be great...
Choose one that is basic and barebones, and the other that has push/pull knobs and switches for multiple pick-up configurations to sound like different guitar types. The owner of Cream Guitars is going to be rich. He's on to something. The present problems with today's guitarists that he had explained made a lot of sense.
2:35 I think those are erasers, not stickers.
Make it a surf guitar. Blue shades sparkle arranged into "waves" and stick a surfboard in there somewhere. Could be even a evening colours of water?
Good problem to have. I say send them 60 cycle hum logos to embed in the top. Whatever you do will look killer.
How about putting some actual beach under the epoxy, sand shells, maybe some drift wood, plant life?
I'd own the first guitar you showed, the red sparkle flake!!!
If you go w/ the Voltage (Z shape), the purple sparkle would be really cool. My other preference would be the flower Revolver model. So cool!
5:08 Aqaurium and 5:24 Calaveras are the best finishes imo. With a white pickguard and chrome hardware.
I see why you have a problem with a decision! Pretty cool finishes and styles!
That beadwork one, though…do it.
Also, the idea for a custom find a $.25 toy machine that has dinosaurs in it and basically clear it out and send those little plastic dinosaur toys
I LOVE THE MEXICAN SKULL GUITAR !!! TOO RAD !!!
I saw new Vintage guitar in the surf guitars video, have you checked the new Revo series Vintage guitars?.....they seem quite unique and I can`t find any info yet
i love the Aquarium gravel one! Maybe they could embed some blacklight LEDs in it!!
The flowers one is the winner for me.
An aqua/turquoise/white sparkle design reminiscent of ocean waves. There… it’s settled.
It'd be tough for me to not choose that Galaxy Purple Sparkle, but the Prisma ones are super cool too.
Yeah, I think that's the one that really catches my eye too!
I want one of these pretty darn bad, but I'm wandering about some of the specs... what's the neck profile/thickness? Are the frets SS? Could we possibly get 24 fret one day?
Either way they're beautiful and amazingly priced considering specs/build quality.
can you please take your fender flying v to guitar center, i wanna see the workers reaction so bad
The backwards Explorer with the Blue with black Candy Deluxe finish is Absolute Dope. Hell how do you pick. Every finish in his designs says Win in my mind. $1600 starting is an insanely great value on a groundbreaking guitar concept like these. Congrats.

brown sparkle?
@@60CycleHumcast enlivened with the telltale flecks of orange and red that just says... Ummm... Yourwifesname.
@@60CycleHumcast 😂
I liked them all, but the standouts for me were the Day of the dead skulls and the one with the green pyramids pattern in it.
I still miss my '88 Jem FP... funky colors are fun.
Blue & green sparkle AGAVE LEAVES mosaic for a finish would be off the chain for this brand and the model you selected.
the broken glass looking one is tops!
purple spark
I'd like one done in the paisley , id be curious to see their execution of it
I mean you basically have to go with the gold sparkle Z shape right? It's GOLD SPARKLE, it's made for you!
You clearly need a surf themed diorama.
What about the flowery emoji pattern for your ironic doom band?
I would do a 3d layered version of the 60 cycle hum logo over bright blue glitter sparkle.
How much and what do they weigh?
you already have sparkle guitars... so you should pick one that is not a sparkle for the extra unobtainium vibe...
However I can tell by the tonal changes in your voice as that you're just going to pick another sparkle, and to be fair the multi coloured flake with the purple clear is to die for.
As you'll go with your gut regardless of the comments, and I (a total stranger on the other side of the atlantic) am going to briefly pretend like I know you, I am going to gamble that is the one you'll pick.
the dead heads from the side on the z shape!!!
Since your channel name is 60 Cycle Hum, how about tons of old single coil pickup bobbin toppers under the resin? Could become your channel mascot!
The Green, Black, or Purple Z sparkle guitars #1 #2 The Gold sparkle. 👍
I wish the Voltage model came in an HSS config with the green geometric finish, that would be my choice
I like the first style you looked at and a paisley finish
You should get one with an homage collage to The Aquabats embedded in the epoxy.
Custom finish with some 80s Diener erasers preferably the robots or the monsters. Maybe the aliens.
I'm with you on the body shape
Silver sparkle on black with black pickguard. Tell them to make basses
What finish/inlay? Lego. ALL THE LEGO.
Lemme get the Voltage Standard in Deep Purple Haze and I'm gonna need an arcade killswitch to compensate for no wiggle stick
I mean, it's a surf guitar - so some green-ish waves?
You hit it at the end - lots of little plastic dino skeletons/bones.
Imagine one filled with all those picks clips I had. 😂 p.s. dark purple sparkle.
I do love having a wiggle stick though.
red sparkle
Going purple too❕
5:52 guitar for church gigs?
Dio de los Muertos and it’s not even close! They all look amazing, though
Thought this was your guitar design come to production?
You should do it in the 60 Cycle Hum Logo!!!!!
Also make sure it has a Wiggle Stick
wow cant reallyt go wrong tho ryans gonna rip it apart immediately haha
You should get a guitar with guitar stickers!
A fuzz finish. Epoxy - filled with yours and Steve’s beard fuzz.
Flakey Gold 4:31
One with tiki faces embedded would be cool. Kinda like the one that has all the skulls in it.
Purple Z dual humbucker
