I don’t think I could judge someone based strictly on their sun sign. If anything the moon sign matters more to especially in close relationship. Then again I’m a Scorpio moon so maybe it’s just more important for me
The dog thing is kind of funny to me, I'm sure you find it frustrating ...but I just laugh. Dogs are wonderful. I hope to get my kids a dog one day, when we live in a bigger home. Virgo rising here. T Pluto is sq my sun moon mars 0-2* in Taurus the 8th. I really feel this and am now ready for it to go direct! It seemed to give me some energy before it went RX and I’m ready to feel that again. I’ve honestly been exhausted. Thank you for you dailies

after studying astrology over 20 yrs, i never really figured that Jupiter Rx would matter, but i as a sag, to go over, reconsider and tweak decisions would be a good thing. Cancer is my rising, so i guess that exaltation makes me a little lucky. But honestly, i am so over pluto in capricorn, especially since pluto transited over every single one (and squared others) of my planets. Can i have a break soon?
I suppose Jupiter goes direct in early February and in late May moves into Cancer, the sign of its exaltation. So things should start getting better. Also, there isn't much Fire in the sky, which doesn't help. When we get planets moving into Fire signs in a few weeks' time there may be a boost.

The difference between thatvand a volcano however is volcano generally spew all over no direction in particular. Ophiuchus can only conceivably be relevant if you're using the sidereal zodiac. Like most Western astrologers I use a tropical zodiac, based on the seasons rather than the constellations. But really Ophiuchus probably stems from tabloid hype - I think I saw the first article on Ophiuchus in a British tabloid newspaper in the 1980s.

I would say the opposites regarding signs in the north and south hemispheres is because of the weather.!
