What is the "best"? It depends! Do you want the most silent and smooth? ILQ-9 plus, combined with paraffine oil and ceramic additive. Do you want the fastest that last for 42.195 km? Go for race specific bearings. Do you want to ride in rain? Rustproof ones. On dusty pathways? Sealed ones. The best you can use is often the one you have. Imagine you have a malfunction and you want to ride - you're thankful for ANY bearing, even the cheapest one someone can give you. 😎
Excellent video. The irony is that everyone seems to forget how the bearings are mounted. In general, all bearings are designed to be an interference fit. Yet on inline skates you just slide the axle right through. Which means along with the high tech balls spinning the inner race is also spinning.
I have a question about load capacity of the 5 ball bearings cause if I carry my duffle bag and spare chassis’s ect plus my body mass what can they take
Could someone make a 5 ball bearing with a white Teflon race lip that is designed to degrade limits would still fall within usable permitters and make them sealed so we could have a crazy fast dirty urban bearing
