Could you explain how pivoting can cause this injury. Mechanically, the acl & hamstrings stop anterior translation of the tibia, acting on the femur and ( acl only) posterior translation of the femur to tibia. I the tibia fibula joint is stationary infirmly planted its the femur that's anteriorly translating and rotating on the tibia. If that is the case, shouldn't the pcl be affected instead ?
I now finally know what's wrong with my knee. I haven't been able to play badminton ever since. Someone please tell me how expensive this surgery is. I don't want a life if I can't play badminton 😭😭
