@sjb610 I definitely agree with that. I personally don't give a shite about crypto because the block chain is going to further our enslavement as a whole. My goal is to be totally self-reliant, being able to never leave my property if I don't want to. Then I'll just travel as I see fit until I can't. At some point, they will squeeze people out of society. It's coming in my lifetime, maybe not the full-fledged scale, but enough for me to not want to participate in their digital gulag.

I'm always amazed at how this space is against government overreach but talks nothing about what's coming. First, I might be wrong but I don't think initial investors could access their tokens before 1 month post-lauch, so how could they dump it. Secondly, and this is the main thing, FTX manipulated the market by opening large trading positions to pump the price like crazy before dumping on anybody (this is not conspiracy it is acted). The logic behind is that lots of people like/liked Solana (like Sam Bankman) and other coins, however ICP would be so much threat to all of them. For my point of view, ICP is not there to kill all coins, but rather to help lots of the projects by using their internet computer protocol directly on chain.

I made this from mining on some few GPU's I bought in 2017. And some trading of the mined coins. One or two of them GPU's still mining sometimes.

Not to mention, he's overlooking the use cases for cardo, Solana, avalanche. These are projects attempting to do financial infrastructure more so than this "web3" website oriented tx volume.
See cardanos hydra for how it could expand beyond "tx volume" metrics. Such things are better managed by secure "cobol-esque" systems... Like... Those built on Haskell
Sure, a social media or music share or video share can be done by ICP. And should be! But the tokenomics of this chain are AWS-like, supply meets demand. Even if it's secure and decentralized via chain key encryption.
Multi chain is the future. Many financial, many web3, many DPIN, etc.

Once regulations are established, you will see many of these pump and dump companies disappear
this does not make sense unless you take into account his 8 year staking which I am sure he clearly mentions as he's done it in other videos.
If you are trying to gain from this bullmarket, you need coins with more explosive growth, ICP will surely hit $50 this bullrun, and will pullback much less, then keep growing, but AVAX for instance will do a quicker 3-4x this year alone, or SOL.

I'm sorry but I've seen thoese crazy staking programs before. They never work out long term. Yeah, some places you can make a small percentage. The ones with high rewards always collapse in the end, either the token goes to crap or the rewards go way down, usually the token fails.
yes in 7 years staking rewards will be 5% for 8 year neuron or less if its a 1 year neuron. Computation on ICP burns ICP

What are you talking about man? ICP has bounced back and forth from 11.00 to 15.00 since the beginning of the year. Wildly. Apparently at random. Today it's at 13.97. And you're saying crypto is somehow more resistant to cyber crime than dollars? If anything it's way more susceptible to scammers, hackers, etc. It's dangerous just owning crypto just because it's so easy to lose your key or mess up a transaction, or fall prey to online scammers. Right?
I have several 000's into ICP, but there is one thing that working as a developer for 40+ years is that simply having the best most advanced tech does not automatically guarantee that will somehow reflect in its adoption.
U know how to develope, but don't undestand advancement in tech... it should be clear to you with ICP... what questions do you have?

I have 4k ICP tokens so I do appreciate the tech, however in my direct and indirect experience, the best solution does not always guarantee that it will be adopted. I mean look at ICP, you admit that its superior to most chains but can you explain why it does have the traction that lesser chains have. Is it because these other protocols are better?, or do you the the other protocols may have a leg up on ICP when it comes to promoting themselves?.

I don’t think we’re going to see ICP or any of the payments or Internet protocol system coins go up until next cycle I think the cycle we’re gonna have the big focus on enterprise level, adoption and getting them situated with DFI. There’s just not enough hype in the sector, which is the only thing that matters.
On top of that, I don’t think that this client will do well until you get enterprises that are publicly holding positions and not trying to dump peoples bags. I really feel like next cycle. This is going to do great also because of the staking protocol that they have I love the project just not for this cycle
People need to think of $ICP as the next generation of cloud services. Solana is not our competitor. Solana focuses on a small market share w/ numerous competitors. Our competitors are Amazon Web services, Google Cloud services, etc. This is a trillion $$ market that has been unchecked. By 2030, its projected to be 2.5T. Even if we gain a 5% market share of cloud services, thats $125B. That's a 20x. Its not unrealistic to gain 25% of the market given the low fees. Thats a 100x. Add onto that the staking rewards...yowsas
The market will offer one more dip for accumulation most of the tokens are forming a top of their wave 5 and a 3 waves down is loading be cautious and set your buy orders on the upper and lower support levels as for ICP you can see it at 11.2 and maybe 8.9 then the next wave will start which will push ICP to minimum 23$ to 42$

If it had any future potential, it would have more price action than it has displayed. I’m sure jerry isn’t the only person who has done their homework on this project. No one else is shilling this project as aggressive as Jerry. I’m sure it has possibilities, but not to the degree he is asserting. I own approx 180, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying anything more until it shows upper movement

I wouldn't go all in on anything, but you might be right. If you make a lot, I wouldn't recommend going all in again. ICP is my largest holding at around 10% of my portfolio, and while it's profound, I'm not all in. Bought 5k more in dollars of ICP. My holdings are 500 ICP. FYI, if I get wealthy from this, I will donate to you. I view ICP as the entire internet in crypto, front and backends natively supported unlike other protocols like AR and FIL.

Something that is never discussed is how much transactions/s will be needed before the amount of minted coind = burned coins.
From my knowledge every transaction costs 0.0001 ICP. There are 250 million staked ICP which gives a reward of 37M icp yearly ( 15% APY). This is 2170 ICP per second. In reality the amount of return is less because not everybody stakes it for 8 years +.
You'll need 21 701 388 T/s to burn 2170 ICP per second. Can ICP even handle that amount of Transactions/Sec?

its not just about transactions its about burn cycles
Dapps burn cycles for computation of canisters on the ICP. So as more Dapps are built out over the ecosystem and users use the social apps, exchanges, anything basically on IC it will be burning cycles, The developers buy Cycles with ICP, so the predicxtion is in 2031 IC will be deflationary, in that time with projected inflation, approx 4% the C.S will be 700M ICP when it will then become deflationary. Circulating supply is approx half of total supply as ICP Staked for the governece of the IC.
ICP goes to 6 Dollar Back. Never up over 20 Dollar
