What the advantage of rear facing, I was rear ended yrs back, the rear glass flew all the way to front wind shield , fragments cut my driving arm, imagine a child getting hit in eye with rear glass, front facing at least hopefully the front seat would direct glass around the kid.
I had no choice but to consider this seat. This model is the only one that is a harnessed booster that can be use in harness mode until they reach a height of 54" or 65lbs (age not relevant) Britax harness 2 booster was my first choice but didn't realize harness mode can only go up to 49"; which is where my daughters old seat is. Theres diono, but their data is conflicting everywhere I look online, including the PDF
A long time ago you could put a one year old forward facing and then things changed because of a lawsuit. Later there was another lawsuit which challenged the research paper that the first lawsuit was dependent upon only to then end up being retracted because the sample size was too small. So basically at this point, car seat manufacturers are using the whole rear facing until two on a retracted study and are using it either to cover themselves from lawsuits or make more money off car seats.

Hey!! This little is far too young to be forward facing. This is a nice seat. But he can not use it until age 2.

@RODERICK CONSTANTINO This is a good seat, but only if the child is over 22lbs and over the age of 2. 😊

He looks too young to be forward facing.
