I'm on the edge of my seat to see if you finish the Penguono next week! Voting for the Yarnable skein to be the border 😊
🤣🤣🤣
Yes yarnable definitely needs to be the i cord. Before you even said it i was like “that needs to be the i cord on your penguono” 😂
I love a knitter who does other crafts and shares them. All the great things in one place! Gorgeous socks and that green on you is fantastic. Really enjoyed this episode. Best wishes from a Canadian knitting podcaster!
Woohoo! Knit close to 20 inches of i-cord! I'm loving your penguono! Definitely use the yarnable for the i-cord!
So, congrats to you, you got another shout out from Crazy Sock Lady she likes your idea of wrapping your yarn and picking a number to use for the next sock project.
Your Penguono looks great, I think the idea of the Hypnotic green for the i- cord would work out well. Good luck on getting it done by your deadline. *)
"By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes." Shakespeare, ( I used to teach English). That's why it sounds funny. Also a Ray Bradbury book . I think you'd like the book since you like scifi. Love your socks, as always, plus your penguono is beautiful. I loved your Caffeinate tee shirt from last episode.
Love UR greens on the penguono,,,!!!wow,,,,
Love UR doing the heel flap and gusset,,,welcome,,,
Love the idea😶of using the inside of cake to do heel,,,!!!
Doing that in my next pair,,,
Look forward to the make along,,,,
ElaineXoxo 😍
Lisa, Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix is really really good. Also, welcome to the heel flap and gusset side of things 😂. But I swear that Penguino makes me want to knit one, all out of pinks and purples 😮😮 I’ll be participating in the KAL since I have some little sweaters that I want to get made
Good Morning from Calgary, I would love to see the mossy green as the edging in your penguono! It’s pretty much perfect from my perspective. You’ve slowly inspired me over the many months I’ve watched you to knit a Stephen West mystery shawl. I liked the idea of tonals so I’m waiting on my yarns to arrive. I’ve ordered from Songbird Fibers here in Canada. Their yarns are really lovely. So if I don’t like the mystery shawl pattern this year I can use the tonals in another shawl or yarn project. I don’t always like Stephen West’s shawl patterns but thought it was time to give it a go! I decide to pick a yarn I really enjoy knitting with otherwise I knew I might not stick with it. Have a lovely week. 💁♀️
Hello from Mounds, Illinois. I love my yarnables, I am going to knit my daughter socks, her favorite color is green and her birthday is the ninth of September.
Wow your penguono really looks great 😍, think you can finish if you really want to. But enjoy that's what counts. See you next time, happy knitting, Petra
You could make a solid green Musselburgh with the yarnable color!
I'm using Mossy Hollow as heels/toes/cuffs with the previous month's Grow with the Flow as the main color. Mossy Hollow would make an amazing hat.
thank you Lisa loving your new love of heel flaps
but your penguono omg
Your penguono looks so good!!! I have a plan to make a scrappy shawl with all my green scraps and it makes me think of you with all the green!
Your penguono is beautiful!!! I have always been a blue/purple kind of guy, but after seeing that penguono, I may have to reconsider!
Your Penguono - amazing!!
Love love love your penguono! I’m also excited about your Grogu T-shirt. I have one that’s very similar
I thought of you when I saw Pumpkin Spice Creamer in the store!!😂
Yes, that green is perfect for the I-cord !
Agree Knit Picks shipping is disappointingly slow. Too slow for me. I ordered a Stephen and Penelope kit on September 2nd for the 2023 MKAL and it arrived at my doorstep seamlessly across the pond on Friday September 8th. Priceless!
OMG that Penguono is a stunner! Green is also my fav color. Bravo!! xx, @Professor Purl
I'm a heel flap and gusset sock knitter. I like the fit. I just finished a 2 colour sock and used the 2 colour pattern on the heel flap that we used on the Contrast Blast socks and it turned out fabulous.
Your Penguono number 2 is going to be AWESOME!
That Yarnable yarn will be perfect for the i-cord trim on Penguono ♥
Your Penguono looks amazing! I think that yarnable would look great around it, love that green ❤ I'm so excited for the MKAL too, I wasn't sure if I was going to it this year then when I saw it was the title I knew I had to do it. I even splurged for an Undercover Otter kit. Feel like that will hold me to it and I want to try and keep up with it. I know it's a ton of knitting and can go at any pace, but personally once I see spoilers I get a little discouraged lol.. so good luck to everyone participating.
I feel the same. I usually watch his videos until the end of each clue to see what’s coming. That way I’m not spoiled. Staying off of IG is too hard. 🤣
Your penguno is gorgeous! I hope you use the new Yarnable in it!
I will! 🤣
The bag is Three By The Sea Designs, I have one like it.
Thanks so much!
My mind needs an easy project,,,I found the Sophie scarf to knit,,,it’s fast and easy the hard part for me is counting 8 rows to repeat 🤣🤣🤣🤣🧶 but it’s looking good
