- #EverlastingFoundation was one of #Clarins' staple makeup offerings and many people were somewhat surprised when the brand decided to reformulate and relaunch it.
I understand the need to update as ingredient science improves and consumers also slowly forget an old product as time goes on. However, it can be risky messing with old faves, as seems to be the case with Everlasting Foundation.
The #longwearfoundation formula promises to be comfortable and lasting on all skin types, containing bamboo powder for oil absorption, as well as quinoa and oat sugars for hydration and adhesion. Testing this on "dry skin / humid weather", so we'll see how it does!
Alongside it I'll also be trying the new Everlasting Concealer formula and sharing my two cents about how it performs.

Love love love your reviews. Your application is so pleasing to the eye. I cringe when I see ppl. glob tons of make up on especially foundation or concealers and then try to review on the performance when they applied it like a 3 year old. hi! have you tried the old one yourself? if so, which foundation would you recommend that is sort of similar on shade range and on formula/texture as the old one? it has been shocking for me, it was a product that was a staple in my routine, i had been using it for like 10 years and this is just disappointing to say the least! i would kindly appreciate your help! :)) nice video

Been wondering if you've been taking a mini break or just plain busy - seems like the latter haha 😁 Hope work hasn't been driving you too nuts Candice dear 💖 But wow what an interesting review! Didn't even know Clarins released a new version of their Everlasting Foundation...Not a whole lot of buzz around YT surrounding Clarins in general so I suppose that isn't very surprising. It actually looks superb though, and even after 7 hours it looked smooth and silky on your skin. I was planning on getting the original Everlasting foundation a few years back but didn't get around to it because I wasn't sure about which shade to get. At least this time I have a reference point thanks to you 🌼✨ There's never enough foundations to try for a foundation lover lollll so I'm going to have to purchase this some time this year or maybe next year. Concealer seems decent but it did seem a little on the dry side, so perhaps it'll work for my oily/combi skin. Funny thing about nearly every reformulation from Clarins is that the reviews section on their website is filled with angry customers asking them to bring the old formula back.....it's kinda become a thing at this point 🤣 P.s - Adore that top, it's so fun and tropical!
Haha yeah started work on a new project not too long ago, so I was focusing on that a bit more. LOL you totally noticed the same thing as me when it comes to the Clarins review section! I do have a memory of the old formula being more of a traditional matte texture; a heavier velvet finish that gives high coverage and builds up easily. This new one has a silky texture that sets quickly, and isn't really designed for too much play-time and building, plus it's not as mattifying. But at the same time this is much less detectable on the skin when applied well, so it's a bit of a trade-off! I still think this would be better for not-so-oily skins that don't need camouflaging, and those who liked original Everlasting might like NARS Soft Matte foundation and current Revlon Colorstay formula a bit better!

HAHAHAH oh my gawd you noticed it too right?? My gosh...I've seen it almost every new reformulated launch from them. It's a real shame honestly since a lot of the products were very good but they end up getting like 2 stars due to all the mass hate spam.....sigh. Seriously I don't get why Clarins has such a childish audience of full-grown adults 😅 About the original Everlasting, it does make sense what you just mentioned. From when I was considering it, it did seem to have a more velvety matte texture from the pictures I'd seen. But this new one is unbelievably natural! Honestly it melted so nicely into your skin, it was super impressive. NARS soft matte definitely seems great, I can't wait to pick that up.
What eyeshadow are you wearing? I'm looking for something natural like that.

I have checked formula . I remember Clinique has one ,for skins with problems ( not sure if oily one ..)
