The objective of the game is to get as less points as possible Queen of spades = all hearts in the deck. Each Heart card = 1 point Queen of spades = 13 points if you get all hearts and the queen of spades, you get 0 points, but all other players get 26
It is identical to Spades except it’s the opposite. The main objective of Hearts is to have the least amount of points. Unlike Spades, you don’t play with a partner
If you mean "AI" friends then yes. But you really can't play Hearts with human friends(online) bcuz the AI-s were the default setting from Microsoft themselves. Only Internet Spades and Backgamoon can play with friends@@RetroGamingLoft
@uvuvw3w3_o55as I've played it with my kids recently and with friends when I was younger. It's really not that hard to do-just sit together, look at the cards, and make a joint decision on which card to play.
This is Windows Vista, isn't it? Or 7? Either way, can you please do a video showing us all of the card decks and felts? The decks and felts from this version were better than the ones on Windows 10, and I can say the same for the sound effects.
Yep, it's Windows 7. Regarding your request: I'm very sorry, but this isn't something we would do. This channel focuses on video game longplays. While we occasionally take gaming requests, we do not make exceptions regarding the type of content we cover. Instead, you might try searching for the game on Google to find what you're looking for.
Still can't figure out how the card suits' rang system works in this game. Like, you got the situation where cards are all spades: Three, five and eight. Then you you put four diamonds and game somehow thinks that you put the highest card. Maybe my example is incorrect a bit, but I don't have even a clue what does this "The X card has an A number, which is lower than card Y's number. BUT X card is C suit, so it''s higher than the card Y, which is D suit"-thing mean. I'm just so confused
Was the 4 of diamonds the lead card? Other players only have to follow suit as long as they have cards of that suit in their hands. If someone else leads a suit (let’s say clubs) and you don’t have any more clubs in your hands, then AND ONLY THEN are you allowed to play a different suit. At this point, you want to dump any and all point cards on your opponents. Your goal is to NOT take point cards.(Each heart card = 1 point and Q of spades = 13 pts for 26 pts total. Outside of these 14 cards, none of the other cards give you points.) Whoever plays the highest value card matching the lead suit has to take the cards. You can strategically burn off high value cards early by intentionally taking cards that aren’t worth any points. Then you won’t be forced to take any point cards later when they finally come into play.
The hardest thing to do is "Shoot The Moon" (collect all hearts and the Queen of spades). Often, other players manage to take a heart or two and give you a heck of a lot of points. It's a good thing I like the Queen of spades, at least. That way, if I collect her, it won't bother me, even if I fail to "Shoot The Moon". 👑♠♠
Hello sir..i wanted to play this game but I have windows 11 and cant find this game can u please tell me how to download it..i want the same interface so i don't want to try any other games
It's Hearts Classic, you can't go wrong. Also, there are some Microsoft Packs featuring Hearts. If you can't find it, there's a chance it might not be available in your country.
To each their own, I suppose! While I find it pretty easy, there are definitely games out there that others breeze through but leave me scratching my head. Maybe I just got lucky with this one...
You think? No, seriously, there are harder card games. As a general rule, just try not to take the Queen of Spades. If you manage to avoid it, you can keep your score low even if you take a few hearts and increase your chances of winning.
@@michaelgtav78 I uploaded another Hearts video where I successfully shoot the moon and demonstrate even more effective strategies for winning. I hope you find it helpful: ruclips.net/video/Xo1KF80aY00/видео.html
I love the sound of the Spade's queen and when anyone put the firsr heart card on the table
I agree, Hearts is a special game, and so are its sounds.
I really like the art with the seasons. I've never forgotten these images since I was a child. Wonderful! Thank you for sharing.
@@firinnegile8164 Thank you for posting such a nice comment.
I love the sound effect for the almighty Queen of Spades!!!! LOL. But it sucks if it you pick it up, because that's an unlucky 13 points.
Haha, very true, but at least, when this happens, we can try to shoot the moon...
Good run there.
Such nostalgia for this game!
Thanks mate, much appreciated and yeah, Hearts instantly takes me back to the 90s, I can relate...
I didn't play this game as much as Chess Titans and Purble Place when I was younger, but I did play it a few times and remembered it
It's good bringing back memories.
Always liked this game. I was super pumped whenever I got a chance to shoot the moon!
Cheers mate, that'll be my next goal!
@@RetroGamingLoft Very cool, cheers right back!
i love the sound of the spade's queen when it comes up. What does it mean? 11:12

Not really that hard my friend, and once you figure it out, it can become addictive, especially with friends!

0:45 Hatchiko (Like the statue in the 2009 Samurai Sword Scooby movie).
Truly a lost memory, this might possibly be one of the hardest card game I've ever played.
Really? I've now published three Hearts videos. I hope the strategies I used in them can help you.
I really hate when i have to take spade queen with its 13 points, it happens really often
When this happens, I always try to shoot the moon.
Nostalgia
I can relate...
How do you change your name on this game? I can only change the names of north, east and west.
The game uses your log-in account name. Hope that helps.
