Sweeny makes a perfect point. Referees need to be interviewed and criticized just like players after games. Why do reporters ask players about the officiating and not the officials themselves? Especially when reporters know that players will get fined. Interview players about their lack of back checking and interview the officials/league representatives about penalties, suspensions, and missed calls. Why is this not a thing.
