Everyone involved in this build should be proud to have been a part of it. The wrecker is amazing, and on the third first trial even the dogs seemed excited about what it can do, and I know it will only get better over time. Well done to all involved!

The wrecker is a behemoth . One fine example of engineering and skill, Kudos to Matt, Lizzy and Tom. Notable mention is Rory and Chad. When the employees windshield was damaged I thought for sure Jamie was going to say “ this is normal for us” or “ this is why we can’t have nice things” I love this channel 👍🏻

A huge part of me wants to move to Utah because there is truly such good genuine people there! For Rory to go to Colorado and pick up a t case for his friend is killer.
Very happy for you guys. And Rory truly is a class act who knows the true definition of friendship: a friend in need is a friend indeed! Kudos to Rory.

I was sitting at my computer desk cheering away as you crawled up Sliplock!!!! You guys rock!! Watching Tom Tom and LIzzie driving the wrecker is just something special! Mat - you are the man!!!
I think it's great that Matt didn't blink an eye to let Lizzy go to a volleyball game, and that she didn't need to hesitate to say it. She does seem to be a bit vertically challenged for that sport, though! 😁 Also, it was good to see you put your challenges on film for us to see, as well.
One of my favorite episodes; it was fun to watch the excitement in both Peanut (snow) and Lizzy (mastering a 4 diamond obstacle climb). Great to see the testing of the wrecker went well - very impressive!
When Rory is holding the part up at shoulder height for Matt to apply goop to… had me rolling, such a great statement of how good natured the work environment is there at the shop.

The Heavy wrecker does an awesome job. That wrecker is a huge asset to your business just like your employees.Your crew are truly professionals from editing to manegeing the business. And Lizzy Is learning some important life skills. She is and awesome welder (comming from an old welder) and she did an AWESOME job driving the Morvair and Heavy Wrecker up the slippy rocks.

I've gotta say, I started cringing a bit when you started doing gravel burnouts in a small lot full of vehicles but I'm glad you immediately owned up to any damage done lol. Awesome build.
Gotta say I lost some respect for Matt when he did that knowing he was spraying other people's vehicles. Sure he agreed to replace that windshield but I bet he's not paying for new paint jobs.

This episode was great; had a little bit of everything, wrenching, shenanigans, partial failure, fix, massive success, rescue, and finally a fun date day drive in the Country with Matt and Jaymie!! Great job on the Heavy Wrecker!! Watched the whole build and it is AWESOME!
I definitely agree with Lizzy seeing the wrecker climb horseshoe falls was definitely an epic milestone without a doubt. In my opinion the best part for me was seeing Lizzy climb horseshoe falls in the MOORVAIR then drive the wrecker. I know the wrecker games will be a lot of fun to watch
It's been lovely to see it move under it's own power & Matt spinning it like a teenager. Considering the complexity of the drive & steering, it looks smooth & powerful. I was expecting some technical because it's all totally new & even experimental. I'm sure there will be loads of fun this year, after the bugs get washed out. It looks grey guys.
Congratulations Matt and all the crew on an absolutely outstanding build. It’s been a truly anxious wait for the heavy wrecker to be up and running. Give all yourselves a big pat on the back. Good luck from Russ in England 🏴
Look at the smile on Matt's face when his Monster Tow Truck went through the obstacles like a hot knife in a chunk of butter...Good for you Matt and Kudos to all the crew members who relentlessly worked on the project...All the efforts put in that finally paid off...Cheers!
What a beautiful story !! I was puzzled, but you were insightful !! Watching you on your Wrecker climbing the rocks !! WOW !!! Bravo ! Good job ! And a special dedication to Rory who helped you and you gave him the opportunity to show us yours firsts turns on his RUclips Channel !! Big big respect !! Long Life to the Wrecker !!!
Ive been watching you guys since my brother told me about your channel (1 month) What a great sense of accomplishment you must feel after working out issues with your builds . Great attitudes and team work . Never a frown or a scowl, on camera, at least. Bravo you're fun to watch!
7:20 🚀 "That's one small step for man, one GIANT leap for mankind." 😂 AWESOME!! It has taken a long time to get to this point, but totally worth the wait!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride!!!
Congratulations to your teammates and your family for pulling this wrecker build. It takes a lot of time and skills. From Lizzy taking on a new skill of welding and fabrication. To Tom who helps with the team. A whole lot of people and family made it.
@@GoldVP... If by “modified” you mean “replaced every single part except for these half dozen sheets of stamped metal,” sure, its just a modified International dump truck. Or it’s two MRAPs, modified. Or it’s a Suburban, modified. I suppose it depends on where the soul of a vehicle resides. Not my department. I look forward to reading other opinions on this though.
I have a naming suggestion. In my early 20’s I owned a Jeep that a family friend had purchased new and modified. It was a 1960 CJ5. He put a half metal cab on with a small extension on the back end of the bed. It looked like a mini pickup with an extended bed. He also put in automatic hubs, a Buick Dauntless V6 and an overdrive. It had four levers. The shifter, the overdrive control, the 2H/4H control, and the HI/LO range control. My friend said it was like driving a porcupine. That’s what I suggest for your name, ‘The Porcupine’.
I’ve watched your channel since 57k subscribers. I must say this gets me excited to see the progress not only Matt; but everyone has made! Good job everyone 🎉
Matt, you are truly an awesome person. I loved watching everyone get a turn at driving the wrecker. Also all the good things you do for your family, crew, Ed, and your community. I think things will get very big for you. Just don’t forget your RUclips audience. Don’t let some mainstream media outlet talk you into a show. They ruin them all. Keep doing what you’re doing.
It is so exciting to see this labor of love reaching its final form, what a marvelous achievement by a great team. Just can't wait to see the first really tough recovery using this beautiful beast.
The arial shots in this video are epic. I need a beauty shot of all three custom builds together. It’s like the Morrvair is cheering on little (big) brother in this video. It must be so cool to build something and then see it do exactly what you envisioned it being able to do!
B E A S T !!! LOVE smiles on everyones faces driving that thing in these last couple vids!! AMAZING to see Lizzy's skills always growing (and Matt is an amazing mentor, letting people grow and share in the work & victories!) LOVED watching her driving up that climb!! KUDOS TO YOU ALL ON ALL YOU'VE DONE & STILL DOWN TO EARTH, POSITIVE, 'GOOD EGGS' as my gram would've said!!!
At 1st I was disappointed finding the Beast being filmed on its first ride out by other channels But by watching this video i understood why also seeing the enjoy in Matt realizing his creating of Beast how it handled climbing the trail I'm joyful too looking for to seeing the Beast in action....
I love how things aren't perfect the first time and y'all have to troubleshoot and overcome difficulties. Just like how all my projects are much more work than expected!
Hi everyone at Matt’s Off Road Recovery, After the many temporary fixes, the performance of the Wrecker was impressive, it’s been impressive since the start of the build, there’s no doubt that once you have fully completed and made all the permanent fixes, The Wrecker will have next level off road abilities, Well done for building an amazing Off Road Wrecker.
I reallyyy want my daughter to be just like Lizzy. My daughter even loves her and actually is motivating her to participate in mechanic duties in my garage haha. Can't explain enough how much I really love this channel

So excited to see this monster literally rise into action. Been anticipating this since its inception. Admittedly I’m new to the channel and the off-road recovery scene . Here in Toronto,Canada haven’t personally experienced that lifestyle, notwithstanding, seems very appealing to me . Wish I could be there for the Wrecker Games & meet all you fine people in person. Wishing you all the best . Keep up the good work! 👍
This was such a great video!!! Matt, I enjoyed seeing you so happy with how the Heavy Wrecker went up those rocks!! All that hard work from EVERYONE involved really paid off!! I can’t wait to see the Games now!! I will be rooting you on every step of the way. Also, it was so nice to see Matt let everyone in the driver seat to experience the same joy he was feeling!! Great job!!
So happy for you and the team Matt! Been super cool watching the wrecker getting built every step of the way from welding frame rails to running and driving
maybe a crazy idea but have you considered a rack on the front you can attach weights to like on a tractor , think it could be useful for when recovering heavy vehicles . then you can make the weight storage where it fits when balancing the wrecker out on scales. also get a metal mesh to cover the rear window incase the wire snaps.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who adores Lizzy more and more in every video. She's truly an amazing person. I don't know her parents, but she is testimony to what great parenting can do.
I may be the only one but I would really love to see some vintage style “KC” lights above the cab. Like the “old” Baja Trucks. With the leds it may not be necessary. But if you need a benefit, the yellow light may be nice for those late night jobs where you don’t want the white/blue LEDs burning your retinas. Once again, great job, that beast turned out amazazing!
This was a great Video!! It was so ridiculously cool to watch the wrecker walk, effortlessly, up those obstacles!! I can’t wait to watch future recovery videos to see this thing settle into its role. Great work by everybody!

Tom & Rory seem to be amazing friends to put the time and effort in to solve issues that many might walk away from.
Matt is such a good human being. Deserves all the success he’s had so far and then some
What a beautiful story !!
Ive been watching you guys since my brother told me about your channel (1 month)
What a great sense of accomplishment you must feel after working out issues with your builds . Great attitudes and team work . Never a frown or a scowl, on camera, at least.
Bravo you're fun to watch!
Glad to see all the dogs out on this expedition! The heavy wrecker is excellent, a long journey. You have just quintupled your rescue capabilities.
I love how you let your RUclips buddies post their videos first so they can get the exposure before you post. So wholesome.
You guys made a truck from scratch. I mean...how cool is that!! Congrats! I can't wait to see it at work.
Following this project from chalk marks on the floor has been quite the adventure.
LOL it wasn't from scratch... he had a cab. After that it was all easy sailing. Well after a few tons of welding. 👍👍👍👍 Dave
They are horrible at seeing something before it's done
Wasn't scratch, it was modified
I am in awe. Matt and his amazing crew and great buddies built a literal MONSTER WRECKER from scratch. Big UPS !!!
Amazing how this all started with some steel plates to make the frame! What a crew it takes to get to a functioning wrecker in a year! 👍👍👍
That wrecker is simply amazing. Great job by the entire MORR team!
Totally agree 👍 Don't let anyone in the back door. God bless you 🙏 all.
I've never seen Matt that happy on camera before, that's amazing
Congrats to the whole MORR team on the hard work. It makes me smile to see you all so happy at the success of the THORR build. Nice work!!
It must be so cool to build something and then see it do exactly what you envisioned it being able to do!
ok
B E A S T !!! LOVE smiles on everyones faces driving that thing in these last couple vids!! AMAZING to see Lizzy's skills always growing (and Matt is an amazing mentor, letting people grow and share in the work & victories!) LOVED watching her driving up that climb!! KUDOS TO YOU ALL ON ALL YOU'VE DONE & STILL DOWN TO EARTH, POSITIVE, 'GOOD EGGS' as my gram would've said!!!
Matt is a very lucky guy to have such great friends. Keep up your positive attitude.
At 1st I was disappointed finding the Beast being filmed on its first ride out by other channels But by watching this video i understood why also seeing the enjoy in Matt realizing his creating of Beast how it handled climbing the trail
I'm joyful too looking for to seeing the Beast in action....
I love how things aren't perfect the first time and y'all have to troubleshoot and overcome difficulties. Just like how all my projects are much more work than expected!
Dude that heavy wrecker is awesome. Great job to you and your team for bringing the vision into reality
I've felt so much anticipation waiting to see what this thing could do. I am not disappointed. I look forward to seeing how it evolves over time, as y'all tweak and improve.
That wrecker is absolutely awesome. Been waiting a while for this and am not disappointed. Great job Matt and crew.
It always cracks me up seeing Matt ride with anyone😂 he's always got a worried look and holding on😂😂😂
This was such a great video!!!
The WLW is a BEAST. Once you got the lockers, it went everywhere. Congrats to entire MORR crew.
I smiled just as big as you guys seeing you engage the lockers and crawl right up that first obstacle! Awesome!
I love the fact that Matt lets Lizzy loose on things and let's her drive the rigs!
You have a great friend in Rory. And Lizzy looks great behind the wheel of the worlds largest off road wrecker. It should be her truck.
maybe a crazy idea but have you considered a rack on the front you can attach weights to like on a tractor , think it could be useful for when recovering heavy vehicles .
then you can make the weight storage where it fits when balancing the wrecker out on scales.
also get a metal mesh to cover the rear window incase the wire snaps.
