- I'm still mind boggled as to how the other jewellery store tested the stone as real, even though it is CLEARLY FAKE!

The next guy swapped it out for sure…
They wouldn’t put 5 cts on silver
@@itsaaronlolzcan I ask why please?
@@itsaaronlolzwhy
@bradleytobylee4945 they used to do it in the Georgian period but it isn't common practice now as sterling silver is very soft and it would be very easy to lose the diamond with modern stone setting methods
@@Leonardo-zh5kj makes sense thanks for the reply!
If they say it’s real, sell it to them
Haha that's good
I’ve taken my lab diamond bracelet to 4 jewelers and they said it’s moissanite cause it said moissanite on the pen tester. Had it inspected by a gemologist and it is a lab diamond cvd and hpht. Most Jewelers are brain dead when it comes to understanding diamonds. If you need to use a pen tester then you don’t know anything. Thankfully I had a local gemologist in town. Pen testers should be the entry test to find out if something is CZ but never to decide if a diamond is moissanite or an actual diamond.
It looks very cloudy..
Happy new year all of you a hope you have a blessed year!🎉❤
I bought real diamonds 💍 n silver setting
Same
What he means is that a what appears to be 4or 5 ct stone Is in silver.
Depending on where she got it you can't assume that dimonds don't get mounted in silver, I'm allergic to gold, all of my jewelry regardless of stone quality are mounted in silver and yes some of my stuff is a real stone in silver remake of an advertised item at my request.
Could tell just by looking at it that it was fake
The 925 is the most obvious clue as to why it would be a fake. The setting on the diamond tester matters also 💎 most if the jewelers I go to will inspect the stones under a loupe or a microscope
Happy new year
There are plenty of diamonds are set in 925, I own over 350 carats set in 925.. I bought mine from Diamonds Of Color in Florida. They are all real and appraised. Diamonds are set in 925 when they're being sold in 'mock rings' for presentation.
Yeah, I already commented, I have diamonds set in brass. Someone had the ring made in Mexico, stones are verified.
Yep mine all come from India. Brazilian earth mined diamonds the treated with HPHT for clarity and set in 925 for import and to keep the cost down. I actually had one princess stone reset last year i to 14k yellow gold ring and even the jeweler was stunned at how beautiful the stone was.
Not a 5,CT stone, far too small.
"Not in silver" . . Pre 1700's it was not uncommon to see old mine cuts ("OMC") in silver.
It doesn’t even look remotely real even before seeing the sterling stamp
Really trash diamonds can look that bad. But, at that point, I doubt you could get much for it anyway.
The diamond tester that beeped was on crack or didnt pay attention in diamond testing school 💀
it was probably one of the ones with the calibration wheel
This would happen every other day when I was a pawnbroker 😂
Failing the magnet test was always second hand embarrassment for me
Wonder if used a moisenette detector not diamond one
Yas.
I don't know since I literally have 925 sterling pieces that have natural diamonds or even some pieces that have lab created diamonds and other lab or natural gemstones. Of course the diamonds are often an I in color in 925 sterling settings it seems in the marketplace. ✌️
I prefer silver to gold
Quality of Diamond tester makes a difference
this stone just looks like fake, no machine needed
If I get into ring making ill only mount on silver because what you said
If you get into ring making you'll understand why they don't mount diamonds in silver.
@@AKbaby89Another option is to use better settings. Many rings designs are poor for holding stones.
What type of diamond tester is that? Been trying to find one.
I have diamonds...set in BRASS! I mean, WHY???? It's stamped 14k, which is crap, because gold does not turn my finger BLACK! But the diamonds are verified.
It may have been jeweler’s brass plated with 14k gold. Or… why do you think the stones are diamonds?
@@Austin1990 they've been tested several times. This is a thing in Mexico, though, we call it Mexican gold. A gold-coloured metal dented with something like a nail head setter to make it look like gold nugget.
@@AhNee Very interesting. 👍
take it back to the people that say it's real and sell it to him. Why not he says it's real
um i have diamonds in sterling silver wth you mean?
Tiffany's and Cartier mount diamonds on silver.
They sure do.
@@Citizen.Private Of course they do.
Always check your facts before commenting.
Where are you located?
Go back and sell it to that store who said it was real
I actually went to peoples😂
Lmao is this just the same girl coming to him every short. Fake.
you shoukd know that 5 carat fiamond is real real expensive like thousands pf dollars expensive
Look too small for 5 catats.
Only 333 likes?! Ima like early
She just can’t take no for an answer
Then, why get a second opinion after getting an initial yes? She either expected it to be a CZ or wanted a multiple opinions upfront.
@@Austin1990 according to this video she’s going to get a third opinion
@@BannokCheeks This was the third, and none of them are convincing since those testers are junk. She needs a jeweler who really knows how to check. It is easy to tell with a loope, and an analysis machine is even better, albeit overkill.
Duh
A 5 carat diamond set in silver? Don't make me laugh. Anyone with an ounce if sense would know this.
It's fake
Some diamond testers only detect the heat but most are real
Diamond testers are all a scam. Only way to tell if it's real is to put it in a machine and see if the diamond if blue or red
I've seen it in person his diamond tester is wrong
Shii looks fake af😂😂😂
They don't mount real diamonds on Silver
Umm yes diamonds, natural or lab created, can and are set in 925. ✌️
Third
This isn’t a 5ct diamond🤣🤣🤣
Why? Can you really tell the weight by sight?
@@Wetkneeslet me sell you a 5 karat😜😳🤣🤣🤣🤣
