These 3D Models are great if you want to have a better understanding of where Gold and black sand will drop out in a River or Creek. They can be adjusted to create just about any scenario you may encounter in the field so you will know where to look for Gold. Plus, with the use of Lidar, you can create a personalized model of an area that you are prospecting to get a more accurate reading on where the low-pressure zones will be. Don't forget to smash that like button and for more videos on reading a river to find Gold, just watch this video. ruclips.net/video/BgRmO93AMGM/видео.html Thanks

I'm happy you revisited this Jeff , because this stuff never gets old , it is a general reminder of how to look for gold and where to look for gold in creeks and rivers , and sometimes we tend to forget when we're out in the field , and it all seems a bit daunting . But as long as we have the arsenal of knowledge in our heads , there's always a greater possibility to come up with the shiny . For anyone to come up with a model like that shows real dedication , good onya Brother ,Thanks again for the lesson .👌✅👍. Cheers Ned , from a land down under 🌏🦘🐨

After watching this, and seeing that gold most often congregates at the head and/or tail of black sand deposits, makes me wonder if a good technique for locating edges of black sand, and quickly getting on the gold, would be to use a magnet to locate the ferrous material in the black sand. You could determine edges quickly, by how much material is on your magnet, as you probe a creek bed every few feet.

I used to do this playing in the driveway when it rained. It was gravel and had tiny water puddles in placed. Id break the dam watch it drain. see how the sand and small rocks reacted to the water flow. it was a slow process. Taking 2-4 minutes to cover 20' maybe longer. I was supposed to be putting coarse gravel from the edge or sides . Putting it in the water puddles . It was 2" or less deep of clear water. With really fine sand. Made from driving over the gravel. There were 4-5 different sizes if gravel. From a salt or sugar sand. Crushed quartz and granet. So it was light grey to white. With gravel if a few small pieces of quartz , mostly granet. It was from 2" but mostly worn down, to 1" to pea and rice size pieces. The sand was where you drive. Eith coarse gravel in the center and edges. It reminds me of the dry salt lakes. They would fill in yhe rain and id drain them. I could spend hours doing that. Some times id dam up the narrows. So i could do it again. And put little mounds of sand in the "rivers" to be cleared by the water. When i broke the dam. And watch it move the sand and tiny pieces of gravel or pieces of wood from the trees. Or leaves. Pine needles, maybe a part of a toy i dropped and was ran over. I really liked seeing the sand build up in some areas, yetbe slowly removed from others. I wasn't in 1st grade yet. And it eas barely the 80s in the woods of NC, there wasn't much to do, especially when it rained!😅 The driveway was about 1/2 mile, maybe 3/4 mile. I had anout the 1/8th of it roughly to play in tmwhen it rained. I couldnt go further alone. And it was the only place that flat, that started a slight decent. Only about 12"-18" over about 500'-600' by then it was grassy yard for anout 300'. Nothing to do there in the rain.. awesome video. Brings back memories, i completely forgotten about that. Probably haven't thought about it in 30 years plus. Thanks, and hole the new year is HAPPY!🎉
