If the race comes down to an inch you know it was good
when the margin of victory starts with ".0..." 😮💨
@@NASCAR Xfinity series delivers again!!
@@roberthevern6169I, concur. Better racing then the current generation of MEC cars.
You can't exactly base an entire race just by its finish.
It was great.
Gotta feel awful for Sieg. Guy's been doing it the hard way for a long time. Hopefully this purse helps him get over the top, though.
That was pretty upsetting knowing how great he was running, but nevertheless, they raced like real racers, and he'll get them next time
@@pacthesiryeah I can’t stand Sam. He’s always been a jerk. And the fact he had to lean on him on the straight away was bs. It’s one thing to lean on cars like jgr but to do punch down is just pathetic.
@@dedo7326wth are you talking about. That was about as clean of a pass as you can get… and it was Sieg that doored Mayer. Mayer just side drafted Sieg…. That was a good clean finish it just didnt go your way..
@@bradrobertson4609the fact he said he couldn’t stand Sam immediately should tell you he didn’t even read your comment, I for one love to see JRM in victory lane again, and yes, Sieg door’d the hell out of him.
I’ve been pulling for Ryan to get his first win. He reminds me of the “independent “ drivers from back in the 70s, a small but determined team.
man I really hope ross can be in the booth for more xfinity races
Yes! He was really enjoyable to listen to, and his reactions were like a true race fan.
I am not surprised he's thrilled to comment the Xfinity Series, he definitely loves the series especially when he saw Ryan Sieg in contender to win his 1st career win because he was a mid pack contender for years (when he drove for JD Motorsports), Ryan Sieg letted him race in one of his car when Kaulig Racing failed to qualify Ross in Daytona and he definitely likes small and competitive teams like he owns.
He cheered for Sieg for sure ! :D
Congratulations to Sam Mayer for the victory! One of the closest and most exciting finishes in racing!
As a Ford fan I wanted Ryan Sieg to win. Sooooooo close yet soooooo far 🥺🥺
As a Ford fan, 2024 genuinely sucks. Majeski, Custer and Blaney have been the only hopes 😭
@@LessGo7921ebb and flow. The performance is there, it's just a question of when!
It's surely a Driver's track.right on edge around traffic, but to hold it together. Great racing. I'm trying to get back into it. I like what I'm seing.
Great finish, good racing. Xfinity the best racing series atm.
Xfinity and IMSA WeatherTech Series!!
How is the Xfinity series racing better than the Cup Series!? Passes everywhere, rubbing, banging, and a beautiful photo finish! I haven't seen this kind of racing in cup since the gen 6 cars...
This was even better than the truck race last night.
I saw it at Atlanta with 99 winning in the cup series. But this race was amazing
Xfinity is almost always a better race gotta start watching more man its awesome stuff
Cup has ruined their racing by using kit cars.😮
@@wayneanderson1641 more like "crap cars"
That finish gave me chills reminds me of the 2003 Darlington finish with Kurt Bush & Ricky craven awesome I miss Kurt Bush & those days
Ross in the booth was impressive! Unfortunate that he can drive too.
Incredible race❤
My hometown boy so close to winning nice job I hope you get better luck in the next race
Wow!!! So damn close!! Incredible!
Is nobody going to mention how my fellow New Mexico boy Taylor Gray not only managed to save an absolutely out of control racecar BUT only lost 2 positions while doing so?
Ross needs to be in the booth after he retires.
He was great in the booth, love the 🍉 man!!
Just bring these cars to the Cup Series 😂😂🤔🤔 Add some horsepower and we have Nascar again in the Cup Series!!
I absolutely love this combo in the booth
That was the best part of the whole race !!
Guys, its the car (mostly). Not the track(s). Both the truck and Xfinity series just put on some good proper races. If the cup series doesn't hold up to these then it confirms it even more.
If the Cup Series fails to put on a good show tomorrow, then something definitely is wrong, because the Intermediate Track package is one of the strengths of the Gen-7 car. An unintentional strength, but a strength nonetheless.
Ford can’t catch a break this year man. Feel like they used up all their luck sweeping last year’s championships 😢
Not to mention, they were all Mickey Mouse champions. All three of them managed to win the championship ahead of at least one other guy who should've won it before they did. I would say this is karma for Ford, but Ryan Sieg is who I feel bad for in this case.
@@nascarfanatic2425 As a Ford fan, the “undeserved” part is mostly right except for Custer. Bcs in a proper pre-2004 points system, Custer was always a top 2-3 all season long so he def coulda been the champ in a season long format. But all 3 raced in the stupid playoff format and won with it. Not Ford’s fault the Chevy and Toyota drivers couldn’t win it 🤷♂️
@@LessGo7921 No, I blame NASCAR for that, and I always have, but still. Custer, I would probably double check on though, because I think John Hunter Nemechek should've had it. That being said, I do think that of the drivers who were crowned champion last year, Custer was the most deserving of them. And I'm not trying to diss Ben Rhodes or Ryan Blaney; I respect both of them, but to say the Playoffs have long past worn out its welcome is an understatement to say the least. And as a Ford fan, I'm sure that you can acknowledge that while you've been on the winning side of this, (like with Kurt Busch in 2004, Joey Logano twice, and with Ryan Blaney) you've also been gyped out of a few, too. (Like Carl Edwards in 2008, Kevin Harvick in 2020 and debatably in 2018, and technically speaking Joey Logano in 2015, since that year, he only missed out on the championship both with and without the Playoffs because of his rivalry with Matt Kenseth combined with that Texas wreck.)
What a race
What a finish!!
Omg that was suuuuppper close!!!
As badly as I wanted Allgaier to win after what happened at Phoenix (plus he was the best car all day), I'm happy for Mayer after how snakebit he was at the beginning of the year he deserved this one
Good Race!
STILL NO WINS FOR FORD IN THE 3 SERIES 😥 Tough, Ryan Sieg
Have you ever...?
Yes.
No I’ve never
Amazing
Everytime theres a photo finish in a nascar race nascar should donate millions to the poor.
Moment of silence for the cautions? Why no explanation?
I mhope the Cup race tomorrow is this exciting.
Xfinity set a high bar today!
Nah... those gen 7 cars are played too safe, they aren't capable of this kind of racing.
@@pacthesiron 1.5 miles they are capable
@brandondavis8790 Maybe speed wise, they are capable, but the way the cars are built with these rounded rear bumpers and awkward sides and handling... they just don't show.
@@pacthesir I was at qualifying this morning and they are super sketchy in turns 1 and 2 and they're running several 10ths faster than last fall. They also qualified on a good bit cooler track than they will see tomorrow and they were all complaining about how slick it already was. I think it's going to be a good race. Fingers crossed.
HA I knew this season would be GoodYear
Everyone is required to like these kinds of finishes if you don't like it then don't watch it's that simple
Exactly
Hated the finish. Ryan Sieg should have won the race.
Yeah I was hoping Ryan won but that was one hell of a fight to the finish...😁😏
Isnt this a tie for the 3rd closest finish ever across all 3 series?
I do believe it does. Havent checked facts, maybe the trucks at like pikes peak in the 90s but i would argue the placement of the timing device and the fact that timing and scoring was in its infancy at that point would create a great debate for closest finish in nascar history
Truly a fantastic finish!
Daaaaaaaam what a good finish had me on the edge of my seat...😱😁😏
23 seconds in. I'm going to gues Hailie finished about 24th, 2 laps down. *on to highlights...23rd, on the lead lap. About right. Geting experience. Didn't crash.
Actually, she did crash/spin with about 12 to go, but not out of the race. Not sure if it was on the broadcast, but she spun out on the front stretch. Couldn't tell who was at fault but I think she was collected by the 91.
More I see Deegan running, more I gain respect for Danica. Even her Xfinity year for Danica was better than Deegan
Arabalar neden dikdörtgen? Beni aydınlatın
And where was SVG? Middle of the pack again. Where are all the puffers who said he would just come and take over. Ha! Just another Danica.
SVG doesn't wreck all the time like Danica did
Nobody said he'd come in and take over. He'd be impressive on road courses and have to learn on the ovals. Which is exactly what is happening.
Go back and reread some the comments after the Chicago race last year. SVG was predicted to be the next JJ.
He's a decent road racer but more of an attraction just to sell tickets. Like Danica.
