I did business with a lot of record companies. Everybody warned me about Suge. But to be honest, i was dealing with crooked labels and business with Suge was righteous. I had a short rap career. I made the most money off 1 song with Suge than anybody else, and I'm still being compensated for that song til this day.

When Suge was describing how he fell in love with hiphop, he sounded so vulnerable and unguarded. I can tell he was a bit emotional. It sounded like one of the best moments in his life
It was the best moment in all our lives, especially if you were there at the birth and development of it. It “was”/is indeed a religion/A movement.

Damn, thank you for that story about Pac saving that man from the police! They really down played it, cause they don't want anyone to immulate that. Wow, this story should be told around everywhere.
I remember being in middle of the dance floor in Houston and Suge walked thru. No bodyguards just him. Legendary night. Hold Ur Head 💯
Damm, that eazy story is CRAZY! bizzy bone been saying that BIH fucked everything up! I had no idea to the extent though.
His moment and recollection of when he first met the culture of Hip-Hop touched me. I think we can all relate to his story of how we all fell in love with the culture of Hip-Hop.
Thanks for sharing that Suge.
Went to school the day after Christmas break ended. We all had these pill shaped usb MP3 players. My Cousin burnt CD’s years prior so by watching him in the past I knew how to move files on the computer. Lol that day I showed up to school with so much music people actually paid me to put my music on their MP3’s. Went home with like 20 MP3’s that day and would average maybe 6-7 USB’s per week $5 a piece. That was a lot as a 12-13 years old in maybe 08-09. When older people started coming to me I actually started paying attention to the lyrics and drops, which was when I fell in love with hip hop (ALT rock too)

As a little girl who grew up on Hip Hop, it makes me feel bad for how we all thought this man was a monster. It’s like he was the targeted fall guy for decades behind a murder in which he could have lost his own life as well... To hear him reminiscing on his time in Hip Hop, as well as how much he truly cared about Pac and other artists in their daily lives, these folks really had a head honcho that CARED and showed that! He ain’t perfect, but he gave these people STABILITY.
It takes a real man to step up, hold himself accountable and to show perseverance the way he is doing. Much love to you Suge. I’m loving these conversations with him. He always keeps it real.

It is my pleasure to meet you Suge Knight.
You reminded me every one has a story.
I love interviews for this very reason. No one does a better job at sharing who they are than themselves.
I think people dont really realize how smart and such a business person suge is. The powers that be had it out for him because of his knowledge and impact

I used to work as an executive at a huge defense contractor. Most of the executives were engineers, my specialty was science & intelligence analysis. I asked my 15 year old son what he was thinking about doing after college. He said he wanted to be an engineer. Then it suddenly hit me that I was working at a corporation, making some real money for myself & that company, with a bunch of engineers, & I couldn't get my son a job or an internship at that place regardless of how much money I was bringing into that corporation (I was bringing them in the hundreds of millions). That made me quit/retire, at age 40, after my contract was up, & start my own business. I wanted to be able to guarantee my sons a job.
May god bless you and your son on your journey🙏🏾
Blessed !!!

The lesson in Eazy-E’s story is be careful who you Marry and who you have children with because IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT BUSINESS DECISION YOU WILL EVER MAKE. Every woman is not up for the task. All these black men talking about they don’t care about no woman’s education…good luck with that.
And in comparison to Tupac’s ex-wife who was up for the task and got him out of prison and into a better contract situation.
Also, the Day-to-Day administrative work at Death Row in its early years was run by Suge Knight ex-wife, I believe up until 1997. I believe Suge would still have Death Row if he didn’t let those broads get in the way of his marriage. She was the only one capable of helping maintain that record label.
Real shit never let the left know what the right is doing just in case the left wanna cross you thinking they’re right

@@sven7037 They definitely had beef for a while, but I kind of think they would've squashed it. Maybe I'm wrong, but Mike Klein was Eazy-E's best friend. And now he's Suge's best friend. I think Mike could've brought those two brothers together very easily

Suge we love you baby ❤Thank you for your contributions to the world of music. I was a teenager when Pac passed away and I cried for days, they showed you afterwards I knew you had nothing to do with it. I know that hurt look. That look you have when you know you’ve been betrayed and hurt but you can’t show it. I know that feeling of losing someone who gave you hope and love and support and then you’re left with the snakes only. They knew the line up. I watched for one thing, who came up? Who actually benefited from the demise of this man? It damn sure wasn’t you. From what I understand they made you look guilty and then took everything from you and threw you away. I’m not saying you a saint we’re all guilty of something but that man’s death you are not guilty. I remember when Biggie was talking about how he couldn’t believe pac was gone because he knew how strong he was. Then he said someone was trying to kill him. So much sadness. Suge your moms baby. I’m very close to my sons and yes they’re always making me proud. I’m sorry for the loss of your mom. Know that she’s always with you. Love never dies. One day very soon it seems you will be exonerated and I hope that the world sees the real you. You continue to hold your head and know that you are loved by many people who know you have a good heart❤
