blacklist is my example of good animations is better than good graphics. graphics quality change rapidly over the years but high quality animation is timeless
@@todd3143this and camera work in video games is highly understated. Look at arkham knights man the reason it feels so smooth is because the camera work and the animations was top notch

It's because graphics fidelity hit a ceiling like 8ish years ago. You can make things more detailed, sure, but idk if you try to be more realistic with your game's graphics they start to look uncanny imo.
Just to remind you, Ryse Son of Rome is 10 years old too...

I miss Splinter Cell. We need stealth games that are actually about stealth, though. Patience and setting up a kill or your opportunity to slip by and do your clandestine things.
I totally agree. Too bad most gamers have 2 second attention span nowadays so devs are naturally going to cater to that and not make players have to wait and observe enemy patterns.

One of the best stealth moments I had in a game was in the free version of STALKER. Was paid to kill a target deep in enemy territory, so I snuck in, got into a building stealth killed the two guys in there, and then sat on the balcony waiting for the target to appear in a tiny window half way across the map. Blew his head off with a sniper, and then jumped off the balcony and escaped the map.
The fact that it was open world, and I could have done it any way I wanted, and I just happened to find that spot, and make it work like that is what made it better than a lot of other stealth games.
The cover system in Splinter Cell Blacklist is so fluid, it's easy to move around the environments without being seen by enemies.
I don't quite remember what the cover felt like in blacklist but I think it's much better in conviction, at least for me.
@@masnidebelicrnacholding the button to stay in cover might be better but conviction's horrible aiming controls make the experience worse
one of the best levels on this game! and performing a ledge takedown to make it fall on the dog was something i only thought possible in Metal Gear Solid V. great to know that bodies have collision.

You come up with the most creative kills that I've ever seen, hands down! They range from completely badass to so good it's comical. The way you dispatched the hitsquad at 10:40 was insanely cool. Then your final kill at 13:56 got a laugh out of me. Something about that far away *bang* and flash of light was so satisfying. You're amazing!
The best one is still the Chicken in Far Cry New Dawn, nothing will ever top that 😂

Bro, this brings back memories, I remember playing the hell out of this game back on ps3, got it all on perfctionist, never detected, never killing anyone apart from targets, played all coop content with a friend with voice chat to coordinate the plays, only thing stopping me from platinum was the multiplayer mode that had no one playing at the time, a bummer. Good times, hope we get a new splinter cell as good as blacklist soon

@@ugleeupdateestv2367 no it’s because both of those games came out around 2010-15 so I’m assuming you played them as a kid and that’s why they’re your favorite. I grew up playing splinter cell games from the early 2000’s and in my mind Sam fisher is way above those other two.
@@Abuhan47 or how about this , i’m not 13 , but maybe i’ve played those games late? just because they came out around that time doesn’t mean i played them when they came out. started getting new to watch dogs actually 2 yrs ago & AC3 a couple yrs after it came out. i played splinter cell only once on the regular xbox. so just because i have opinions u don’t agree with doesn’t mean i’m 13

I LOVE this game. Played it to completion so many times back in the day. Was obsessed with watching gameplay videos of it when it first released and then played it a couple of years after. Always tried doing my own challenges with each levels and also finishing them as fast as possible. It's such a cool game. So nice to see you upload this.
