You know, I can't really see Cry as a person, his voice is just so amazing, like try and imagine Cry's dad telling him to go do the dishes and him saying 'alright dad' like he does in this video, I can't do it. So due to this I have concluded that Cry is an AI, created by some government research facility trying to create a mimetic hazard that would cause anybody who heard it to be calm and possibly fall asleep, however they were worried that they would never get anything done due to sitting around all day listening to his voice, so they programmed him to also be also be as creepy as possible and read them scary stories so that they wouldn't fall asleep, but cry escaped onto the internet where he made a RUclips channel and became the cry we all know today. Yup, that's exactly how it went down.

The flower girl. When she saw what happened to the candle girl, she got scared and screamed that she changed her mind, that she did not want to die like that. Nobody gave a shit. _nobody_. I don't know wheter I'm more sad because of what she must have felt or angry at everything.
Now that you mentioned it, yeah...the flower girl is really sweet, too..which is disappointing, because her little stammers of not wanting to go in Mog Chothra's mouth were so innocent..

And even though everyone acts like they're looking forward to the whole thing, they're all horrified when the girls get picked, so they don't really like it. But that fear must be why they don't do anything about it. Poor people. They're doing all they think they can. Except maybe that old lady...she seems kind of mean, but that might just be her way of dealing with things.
Cry! You gotta wait for them to cycle through their dialogue before solving the puzzles. If you do, you'll hear some pretty hilarious things. The dialogue is definitely one of the best parts of this game, since they're going for sarcasm and glaring stupidity with Shay's side of the story.
Man, this game sure has one unique opening. Both sides look really promising, but the guy's side intrigues me just because it has a much slower, boring start. That just means it's gonna amp up eventually. Of course, I look forward to learning more about Vella's stuff. Man, that's one morbid ass town. I really wanna find out more about Mog Chothra.

Shay's part is interesting but it's different from Vella's in that you don't really learn what purpose he serves in Act 1. There are some references to him being important for some reason, but his personal mission is far more general and vague than Vella's by the end. Hopefully that doesn't spoil anything if you haven't played or seen this game to the end. I'll go ahead and put an alert at the beginning.

This is a very compelling plot. The mechanics seem fairly intuitive, and consistent once you get used to them, and the art style just makes me want to break down and cry... This deserves game of the year just from the first 30 minutes. The female lead is so kickass, and the art is just tops, and it's less scary than games like Bioshock Infinite, because it doesn't predict with horrific accuracy the United States' future.
Throughout the entire thing I was like: "where do I know that boy's voice from!?" And then I was like "OH ITS uh, it's wirt! It's frodo! Um, shit what's his name..... ELIJAH WOOD!"
Every now and then, I come back to this game to watch you play it again. It gives me a feeling of wholeness, of everything being okay. Because the way you interact with the game is just so charming. I think the only game I watched live was FFXV, which was such a chill ride. Since the video started I loved this game! From the way they introduced it, to the art style, the story, the music, the characters!!! I just love everything about this!!!!
i think the boy's parents died when he was a baby, but managed somehow to create that computer with their personalities, like GlaDOS, and maybe thats why the controlls are toy-like and he seems to be almost 100% safe. this thought gave me the chills while watching that part.

If you haven't recorded all the parts yet, I do have a suggestion for the RUclips playthrough. Do one character's story at a time, and then label which episodes belong to each character. That way, we can tell what story we're about to continue with you.
Game looks cool and promissing, but the girl's part got me screaming at the top of my lungs. How can a family/society, frigging people be ok with sacrificing someone for any reason. I know it's a cliched thing and whatnot, but still. It's kinda infuriating.

I maybe that weird person that likes these kinds of games instead of shooting with guns and actions and can't be patient to start to play again, I like to play those games but I have more of a connection to story games playing the life of the characters and see where their adventure takes them, listen to back stories and learning more about the game itself. I have patients for that ad I enjoy every bit of it. Can't wait to see more of this game and more seeing their stories and beautiful art. The film's on Netflix and people re-mastered the film so that it's in color. The film also had an homage in the movie Hugo. The Smashing Pumpkins' music video of their song "Tonight, Tonight" also references the movie by mimicking the film and doing jump cuts. Cool stuff!
