Incredible game. Your reactions were lightening quick with Ken Oh! Cool that he briefly appears at the end of the first stage - that doesn’t happen on the master system version. Great stuff! Have a goodun 👍😊🕹️
@RetroEdUK yes this game is super slick, and I love the "skills" involved in getting good at it... The audio and graphics too are exceptional for the time period too. SEGA absolutely KILLLED it with this game, being a JAMMA game, it was probably one of the cheaper games (for an operator to buy and operate) then the likes of "Outrun Deluxe Edition" (full hydrolic full size cabinet). The console ports were actually pretty good (IMO)! Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you. I LOVE the Arcade version - it's got so much presence and character. That being said though, the Mega Drive version is pretty good. A lot of SEGA arcade games were very well ported to that system, IMO - even SEGA's Outrun! Our country was a little late to get PAL Mega Drive, and the game choices were not that good. We ended up playing a lot of pirated games due to lack of official supply chains. Eventually the piracy ring was (mostly) taken down, but by then Mega Drive was getting old... Playstation One came out and destroyed every home console over a few months. Mega Drive is a great system though! Cheers !
Use to love playing Shinobi in the arcades Mat. I still would love to play it in the arcades if I ever had the chance. Thank you for sharing this with us bro. 8^) Anthony..
Love the premise of the channel but the background noises and the audio levels make some of your vids tough to watch. Something to consider... I'll give a few other eps a try before I decide to sub.
