  • Aerial Cornwall presents a short film: 'A Coastal Journey'
    *Please watch in 1080p*
I wanted to capture some of the less covered locations around the Cornish coast. This is the result of 6 months of filming, from the start to the end of summer 2014 over many locations. Over 6 hours of footage cut down to 6 minutes.
There were so many locations to cover and it was completely impossible to fit them all in. I hope you like the footage I have captured that gives you unique angles and perspectives rarely seen of our beautiful coast.
    LOCATIONS (in order):
    Coverack Old Lifeboat House slipway
    Tremayne Quay woods
    Poltesco River
    Helford Passage
    Fowey
    Coverack Harbour
    Porthleven
    Falmouth
    Porthkerris Divers - Celtic Cat
    Porthkerris Divers - Celtic Kitten
    Loe Bar
    Kynance Cove
    Sennen Cove
    Coverack Old Lifeboat House slipway
    Praa Sands
    Poltesco
    Lizard Point
    Poltesco Rock
    The Devil's Frying Pan, Cadgwith
    Kynance Cove
    The Minack Theatre and Porthcurno
    Cape Cornwall coast
    Cape Cornwall
    Falmouth Tall Ships Regatta 2014
    Lizard Lifeboat Station launch
    The Minack Theatre
    Coverack
    Loe Pool and Loe Bar

Absolutely sums up beautiful Cornwall for me. I'm always torn between bigging it up and keeping it quiet! I'm no camera/drone expert but I hope you are urgently banging on some doors with your excellent footage before the world and his wife do!

Brilliant! Just brilliant. I grew up in Cornwall and visit as often as I can. I've now started flying a Hex so am looking forward to doing something like this soon.

Beautiful - was there last week and watching that has made me very Cornwall-sick! Kynance and Coverack look stunning. Would love to see some footage of Frenchmans Creek off the Helford if you ever find yourself down that way.

So awesome and well edited. May I ask what kit you use and what software you use to edit the videos?

Thank you Tim, appreciate the feedback! This was a couple of years ago now, I filmed this with a GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition and DJI Phantom 2, edited on Final Cut Pro 7. Now I'm using a DJI Phantom 4 and do all my editing with Adobe Premiere Pro. Although I haven't produced a long film like this since it's defiantly the top priority to do so! :-)
