I usually cut a small slit in the sticker and fold it back out of the way of the hole to use the Allen wrench when leveling the 3rd axis, and leave the sticker on the sight so the customer sees it and doesn't inadvertently try to tighten screws that shouldn't be tightened.
Excellent Video!!! It would be nice to see you sight one of those sights in. Also, needs to be a great video on the Landslyde sight as well!!!!
Thanks, I'll stop by and introduce myself!!!!!!
I've had mine for a while now and I love it !! This is by far the nicest sight I've ever had.
My next Blk Gold Sight…Only change would be to ‘blackout’ the set screw for movable pin…Gotta match! Lol
I just got this sight a couple days ago and it is a huge change from shooting normal fixed pins, I just wish the housing was a tad bigger so it would work with larger peeps. Great tip on sighting in at 20/40 then rolling it to 30/50 while hunting, as soon as I get use to it I am sure that will work for hunting and I will still have a 20 pin for 3D shoots.
Ordered one in February, still waiting…but from what I can tell, it’s a great sight. Can’t wait to get it.
Got one on order since beginning of February, can’t wait to put my hand on one!!! Great review as usual Kellen, keep up the good work! Actually preparing myself for black bear season 🏹🐻🤟🏻
I wanted one too but i couldn't wait forever, went with a Axcel Accuhunter instead. Micro axis adjustments is a really nice feature.
Literally like 5 mins ago I swapped out my spott hogg sight for my Blk gold...wtf..lol
The only complaint I have about this sight is when using the bridge lock dovetail, the windage micro adjust knob is super close to the yardage adjustment wheel. It prevents you from getting a good full grip on the wheel. Other than that it’s excellent. Also black gold customer service is top notch if you need them.
I noticed this on my black gold site when I put the bridge lock dovetail on. I ended up taking the micro-adjust knob off because it was too much in the way.
I've had a black gold single pin sight in my PSE for 5 years. Great sight but the one thing is the factory lighted pin is cheap and broke. It mounts to the top plastic fiber optic area. I wish it actually screws into the aluminum somewhere. I need to call the company and see if they have an upgrade. I would like to have the 2 pin setup this video is showing. Maybe I can upgrade that also without having to buy a whole new sight.
LOVE MBG. Can you buy just the sight barrell?
The bottom pin is adjustable but it might as well not be since it doesn't have that much range and everyone is going to max it out anyway.
I agree , I wish it had a lot more travel
They do sell them with the dovetail
Yes, 2 lengths, and 3 lengths on a wing truss
For review you should try the EZ V hunting sight. If I would have had it in wyoming I would have gotten my elk.
Lmmfbo. There is nothing to review about that simpleton sight. It is made for specific use, Troy explains this quite well on the Ranch Fairy Channel, let alone the other 100+ reviews on the garbage.
@@AnalogAssassin1
I have 2 mbg sights and right now I prefer the ez V. Thanks for your input.
@@AnalogAssassin1 what a lame arse response. For a garbage sight it seems to work very well. I'm betting you have not even used an EZ V sight, just mouthing off.
@@maiabrittany actually I yave one...on a kids bow, and use it often..but when I want to actually shoot archery i use a sight. Now be quite, grown ups are discussing 🤫
The dial knob could smaller and that knob could be a lot closer to the sight body. Why have it sticking out like two inches? Sure makes it look big and unsightly.
I gotta have a 5 pin. I just can't stand a slider and I've tried.
I really want a 3 pin like this but don’t like the size and weight of the spot hog
Hey buddy. Do you know if they make the Picatinny rail for an Ultra RX 7 for the BG Dual Trac sight? Thanks.
The FE triple is better?
Can you micro adjust the windage and elevation without an allen wrench? I see it has the finger knobs but I can’t tell if you can make those adjustments tool-less or not
You need an Allen but yes, it’s micro adjustable
How would you compare this sight to the new TORCH 2 Pin?? TY !!
Much more reliable than the torch
Torch is cheaply made
What is the weight on that sight? I have the triple stack now and it’s just too heavy.
Definitely lighter than the triple stack… didn’t weigh it though
Will that work on the hoyt rx7.
Yes
never shoot your pin set up at Sika deer, you will shoot over it ...just saying
Why is that??
