I have always been a Tolbers camping fan you are one of the best RUclipsrs in the campervan camping videos. But the no talking just got me to the point I couldn't watch the whole video. I hope this isn't the new way of your videos, because you were always a great talker during your videos. Please dont get me wrong it wasn't the videoing or the items that I couldn't finish it all it was the sounds that were really popping and when you talk I don't notice them as much. You still rock Matt just please don't change what you have been doing.

Brand new fan here. I thought it was a nice change of pace from other channels I watch. This video gave me the day to day camping vibe while also low key advertising. I thought it was a good video. The whole time I'm trying to look into the woods just in case bigfoot was out there in recon mode

Hi matt love your video..love the night walk thru the woods..I was there right behind you😊reminded me of when I was very young we were raise out in the woods my Dad was a produce farmer..2 of my older brothers would take me rabbit hunting with them at night. " To tote the Rabbits I reckon" but watching your videos took me back we spent a lot of time camping in the woods and going to Crystal River camping an night fishing...do you ever spot Rabbits and other animals out there? Just be safe...Thanks for sharing your videos ..I love them all

You got to get use to the woods bro. Nothing I heard on this video was strange or out of the ordinary for the forest at night. The night insects will let you know when something is up. When the crickets stop chirping and it gets super quiet that's when you need to be on alert. Your gonna hear a bear long before you see one especially at night unless you walk up on one. Bears and other predators are out walking and looking for food at night so you can usually hear them in the brush or crunching leaves on the ground as they walk. Just get use to the noises and then you will know what to be concerned about and what not to be. To tell you the truth the most dangerous animal you need to be concerned with is the human. I dont see you rockin any firearm. Not sure if you cant own one or in your state but you definitely need to get a handgun at the minimum.

Trust me im not trying to be a jerk ( I like watching your videos) but instead of going on a night walk you should have gone for a night drive, as paranoid as you were. By the way what made you decide not to talk in this video? I personally can't stand it when people don't talk, I usually don't subscribe to there channel. Hopefully this isn't the way your heading.
I love this stuff, that’s why I do it. Nothing to do with being paranoid. Having bear mace ready when there’s tons of branches breaking all around you in middle of the night is just common sense. When I’m not recording and need light I literally sit there in almost pitch dark listening to sounds and relaxing. Thanks for watching bro, God bless

Matt, your vids are my guilty pleasure most evenings now. Watching you makes me very zen and chill. I vicariously do the same things through you, but I'm trying to talk my BFF into SUV camping with me. She has a Tahoe and I have a Dodge Journey. I think we could be quite comfy. I have ALWAYS loved camping since I was a kid, and I think it would be the perfect remedy to help me unwind on the weekends.

Sorry but is this camping? Seems more like a video on parking in the forest and playing with electronic gadgets that are totally unnecessary. Camping should be about connecting with nature not connecting 20 cables to ice makers. Sorry to criticize but its just an observation. I enjoyed previous videos.
There’s all types of camping bro, some people pull an RV the size of a house with every luxury you can imagine into the woods to go camping. I’ve done the whole walk miles into the woods with your tent, get all sweaty and dirty, sit around a fire, cook on the fire and all that fun stuff. It’s not something I enjoy as much. For me just getting out in the woods and having the feeling of freedom and being able to walk in the woods or sit on a chair and listen to the wind and animals is very enjoyable. You can definitely go old school and make food or have coffee anyway you’d like if it makes you feel more in touch with nature or manly. I’ve done all that stuff, but my goal is to go full electric off grid for everything I can. When I trade this Durango in for a larger van next spring you’ll see a much nicer more user friendly setup. What Really happened to the dodge CV Van 🤔😳 😂 There is no story i'm just getting rid of it ?
It served its time, just traded it in for the durango. I needed something newer, more reliable, rear seats for the kids and all wheel drive. I want to do some epic winter camping and start traveling. I got an amazing deal on it, so should be able to get my money back out of it when I trade it in for a larger van come spring

Vans are better for camping. More room. I was living in Nissan Altima,Jeep Patriot and Mercedes Sprinter Van. Mercedes was the best for me. I can stand up .lots of room. My Mercedes was with diesel engine. 3.0 L .

My heart was pounding on that walk just like mine always did when my husband and I would be camping in the NC Mountains and I would need to get out of the tent in the middle of the night to go relieve myself. 😂 I wish I had a flashlight that bright back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. 😂

At least you stayed with the #Dodge family, lol. I think you’ll get a lot better use out of the higher suv. It can go places the van probably couldn’t. I love my Ram 4x4. I’ve been watching almost all your videos and enjoyed every one. Even purchased safe in the Van Coffee mug. I was wondering where did you get screened cover that fits over the back of your Van?
I like to cook a steak or chicken or sausage at home before I camp. I take 3 squares of aluminum foil on top of each other, place cooked meat, small boiled potatoes and frozen vegetables on top layer wrap like a burrito. The other 2 wrap loosely for use as plate or extra. Place in freezer at home till time to camp, place in ice chest when you go camping. Unwrap the 2 loose sheets of aluminum and place food in the camp fire or grill or pan with lid. Therefore making more time for camping activities and cleanup is a lot easier.

You could have buy a bigger van and do a custom build for yourself. So you can have a mini office including cooking area and bed too. That my opinion. But love watching your adventures

At the end of August i took my dog camping about 5 miles from the truck and we were watching a bull elk and after a few seconds the elk took off so we walked a few steps and it was a grizzly bear about 30 yards feom me that spooked the elk it was almost pitch black dark by this time so i didn't want to hike any further and bump him again in the dark so we set up camp on top of a ridge and it was so windy my tent was touching my face all night it was kinda nerve racking lol
