what year ranges for this? also, do you know which chip is inside there if you wanted to eeprom it to pull the pin?
All 05-7 Pacifica's use this setup. The chip was mentioned in the video but Its a 95040 or 95080
how would you do 2007-2018 jeep wranglers JKs?
Not sure Ive removed any of the indash wcm's from the wranglers tbh but The ones with ignition on steering column are pretty easy. Just remove the shroud around wheel. The wcm's in dash are going to be a little tough based on what I know about other in dash models but nothing too bad.
@@ecurepair right i’m trying to get the pin and clone the eeprom. but not having any luck….
Is it fobik or bladed? If its fobik they had two styles that I know of for WCM. Older ones will use a 93c86 and newer ones use a NEC v850.
@@ecurepair mcz 33399 is the eeprom chip.. But idk what software to use to see the hex code. But Ill try NEC v850 and 93c86
Thats not an eeprom thats a LIN network interface. Do you see a big MCU chip that has either NEC or Renesas written on it? maybe something like uPD70F3629. That will be what the eeprom is in.
