Its abt gene too. I am medium sized but for some reason my arm wrestling muscles,are the strongest muscle on my body except my thigh muscles. I beat many bigger guys than me.i am not extremely strong, bench press,bicep curls etc are mediocre, but for a reason , my arm wrestling muscles are strong.( side chest and other muscles directlty involved in arm wrestling)

Everyone gotta respect this guy Kirrill, he had the world record bench at around 335kg until recently being dethroned by julius Maddox
I found Kirill's record to be almost as impressive considering he weighed 100lbs less than Maddox, and his bench was insanely smooth compared to Maddox's.
Maddox used a lot of leg drive and his giant body to spring up the weight for explosiveness.
I feel like if Kirill kept trying and went up +100lbs in weight too, he could've hit 800.

In his videos (in Russian) he was always saying that if the right time comes and he has right sponsors he will get back to bench again. For now it seems he has neither motivation, nor sponsors.
