This car is marketed to a wide range of people. That is why it has the typical Hp numbers for this class. It definitely competes nicely with the contemporary cars on its class. Having said that, I just got my CT5v 2024. 400 hp would have made me smile. But I’m not disappointed. If I was, I honestly wouldn’t have bought one. Good video.

I prefer the ‘24 body over ‘25 refresh. Dealer also mentioned the BW isn’t daily driveable. I prefer V6TT/sleepers but agree on the power… I’d really like to see mods for this car. Germans tune 3.0TT to over 400hp so easily. Loved this video as well, my style of what I needed to hear instead of all frills. Appreciated.

I have. 2017 ATSV and I’m trying to figure out how GM went backwards here…had my V for 2 months now and bone stock it rolls out and hangs with modded cars….def not a slouch
Absolutely agree. I love the way the ATSV looks. Much more aggressive and more power. I will say though the CTS V-SPORT would be a better comparison. 420 HP is way better than 360
Wassup bro I got a CT5 V as well (2022) and you can get the JB4 plug in tune that can be easily removed and dealership never knows it was there. Can bump the car from 360 to around 400 just with that.
I been looking into tuning the car too. Not many options. Either JB4 or unlocking the ECM and TCM from HP tuners for like 2k
What kind of 0-60 times have you been getting and hows the performance and is yours awd im looking into getting one

Cool video, hope you make more and update if you make any changes. Looking at getting the 2025 ct5 v myself. Also, if you get a camera mount and mount it to the seat, it'll stabilize better.

BTW, I can't tell if you are engaging the active launch control or not. (Push V-mode button twice and the 'TCM off' light turns on.. then full brake press to the floor and full gas should engage launch control.)

@@orlandocarclub I saw a video of the Chinese variant of the CT5 and it actually had really great ambient lighting. It’s a shame Cadillac focuses so much on the Chinese market and not their home market. We don’t even get the CT6 here in the states while it lives on in China
For the price range, it seems like the CT4-V BLACKWING would've been better for u... The only downside is its smaller... More power and better acceleration....

The power is pretty typical for the class.
You keep complaining about the power numbers just get the black wing. I’m content with the the ct5V (just my opinion)
They are real nice. To buy a car for $100k i would personally just got a different vehicle all together. There's just a lot of options at that price range. Blackwing is a beast nonetheless
It’s idiotic to tell someone get a 50k + different car bc he identified that a super charged v6 only delivering 375 hp is underpowered.

I would literally trade that car in for a CTS V-Sport. You can find one for like $30k with low mileage. A bunch of older people own them
