@@FirePirate099 The waterfowl capital of North America is no secret. Multiple Ducks Unlimited & WildFowl articles (to name a few) have expressed the must see destination for waterfowl hunters across the nation for decades. Our conservation dollars and efforts are what keep our prairies and wet lands alive and suitable to continue to provide waterfowl the resources they need to successfully breed. The locals of SK we have communicated with in our trips have nothing but great things to say about the annual visits from waterfowl hunters that treat their land with respect and spend money in their small town economies. Of the $1.4 billion spent annually by tourists in Saskatchewan, approximately $307 million is spent by people engaged in hunting or fishing activities. The new system implemented in Manitoba is not a lottery system, rather an application process. As long as your application is in before the application process deadline hits, you will be granted a 7 day nonresident hunting license for your allotted days to freelance Manitoba. A pain? Yes, but opportunities are still available. We hope you don't view this series as a negative impact to the resources but rather an opportunity for those less fortunate to ever make the trip to see the sites and sounds SK has to offer. Dropped you a sub, and wish you the best of luck in your future hunting adventures!
@@creeksidewildlife I am aware of all of this. I have seen hunter numbers increase every season in Sask. I’m just saying that maybe we stop telling everyone where we hunt. I’m just as guilty as every other RUclipsr. But now I won’t mention the location of where I’m hunting. It’s disrespectful to the local hunters in my opinion. They might not want 10-100 new hunters competing for their hunting spots next year… just my opinion.
Hope you enjoy the trip boys ! they are going to a draw system for american hunters in the future for sask ! Best news ever !!
I believe you're thinking of the changes coming to Manitoba in 2023. Haven't heard of any planned changes coming for Saskatchewan

Sounds like you might have missed fall 21 and 22. Should have made the drive up.
Due to their travel restrictions, we were not able to go unfortunately. This trip was planned for 2021 originally
