I have flat feet and I always used neutral shoes not knowing any better. Recently, I started feeling an insane amount of pain in my knees, feet and shins from walking too much... think it's time for a stability shoe.
I have moderate to severe pronation. I need a good stability shoe. I also have a wide foot. What type of shoe you recommend. I put in about 15 miles of week of running. I currently use the beast from brooks, but I have a feeling I need a better stability shoe. Please help. Thanks
I have started long distance running last year and now when i run, my arch of my left foot starts to flare up, i was wondering do i need Stability Shoes or any type of custom insoles to prevent such pain in future?
"Stability shoes" aka medial posts are nothing more than a marketing gimmick and the only thing they're good for is making it easier to sprain an ankle. Shoes are either inherently stable or they're not. Gimmicks like medial posts should be avoided until these joke ass shoe makers take the hint and do something real. No shoe is going to "fix" your gait. At best a shoe could not make it any worse.
please make video about stability shoes recomendation
You have answered soooo many questions...THANK YOU VERY MUCH

That’s a solid video.
Thank you so much! I work in a shoe store very similar to yours and I will have my new hires watch this to really get a grasp on stability!
Glad I could help!
Prime x is not known for stability, but it works for me. Because the medial side is higher than the lateral side. Yes, im pronating.
