Great video. Non contact walking football? The name says it all. "As soon as there is contract the referee blows his/her whistle." No matter what!! Then the ref decides who he/she will give the free kick to. The key here is that the walking football game is primarily about passing. The first thought on receiving the ball should be to pass first and not immediately thinking about dribbling or getting around the defender by shielding the ball and pushing/barging forwards past the defender to manoeuvre a space for a shot on goal - something that happens far too often. It's almost impossible not to have contact when this is the aim of a barging forward player. It's pretty obvious when you see so called natural attackers who immediately switch on to dribbling first and only passing the ball when they are caught in no mans land. When you see long sessions of first time passing in a game you quickly realise what walking football should be about!! It's like chess with a ball. And it is certainly not about being clever by being a ball hogger.
