When upgrading my mattress I also upgraded the shocks from 40lb to 110lb. To keep the OSB (oriented strand board) from bending I added 1 1/2" aluminum angle under where the shock connects to reinforce it (a better solution might be to replace it with regular plywood). The added pressure also bent the cheap stock hinges then ripped them out of the wood. I added a stainless steel piano hinge to replace them, and it all works reliably now.
Ah-Ha! You guys use the Emergen-C brand! I've been using it for over 20 years! I swear by it & absolutely love it myself. And as always, awesome tips! Thank you! I've been thinking about adding extra shelving into some of the cabinets. And I have to admit, after many ideas, I never thought of the shelving units that you suggested! I guess I never thought of how I would secure them! Thank you so much for that.
Sure thing. Yeah just hanging them up with some command hooks works good. Just clean the area well first so they hold nicely. Thanks for watching as always. 👍🏼
Soooo... how did you get the heavy queen residential mattress OUT of your RV? I would like to reduce the weight by putting in a RV Mattress... but am worried that i will have a hard time getting the mattress out of the RV....
How did you get it in there to begin with? 🤔 You can watch this video from us and you see a clip of us removing the old residential king mattress. We put it in a mattress bag and stored it in our storage. Every RVer DOES THIS! Plus 4 Day One RV Upgrades YOU MUST DO ruclips.net/video/dSbP15qTqmc/видео.html
We bought from Brooklyn bedding and love it. That said. They say they (customize) bedding for RVs. What about those that have an angle cut at the foot end in smaller RVs?
When they say they customize for RVs I think they just mean they offer various RV sizes but I’m not sure. Haven’t seen those style mattresses you’re talking about on their website. But I’m sure you could contact them and ask 👍🏼 Thanks for watching!

your outdoor command hooks are brilliant!
Great for summer time when all pool towels and swimsuits need a spot to go!
Thank you for your trick!

Our bathroom door in the Ibex 19MBH has a lock. I've seen it on Jayco and a few others.
Awesome, it’s about time some models have them. At the Hershey RV show I still didn’t see any. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Love watching you and learning from you. I’m currently resealing my 2021 momentum. Dreaded it but you helped me soooo much!
Appreciate that! 👍🏼
Resealing is the worst. I dread it so much!
Every command hook I put outside failed within 2 months. They cant handle the Texas 105 degree temps.
Bummer. So far mine have been good, spent sometime out in Nevada during the summer and they held up. 🤷🏻♂️
@@WhyWait Might have been the oxidation, I will try to polish it first and try again. Its the best way to dry towels.
@@enigma9789 could be. Mine are almost the opposite and get sun baked on there and I have trouble getting them off hahahaha

Right….My child that’s who! Hahaha and every time we have company they all do as well.
Also probably the same people who turn lights on at zero dark thirty 🙃
