Man i had Nightmares from this part. The way he suddenly stood at the window and starred at her. You could literally read his mind going "oh there you are. Now i'm coming to get you" 😱

When he clawed at the window, that terrified me when I was a kid!! Still gives me chills now...and im 42. Richard did an amazing job as Jason but Ted White's Jason in part 4 was the best version of Jason. Very menacing and had some brutal kills. Especially the banana girl.
I’m not certain but I’m pretty certain that a few people have researched and have been surprised to learn that they actually based the Disney adaptation of hunchback of notre dame off of Jason’s character and how it all looked from his point of view and from his unique and troubled perspective feeling this insatiable drive to want to ring bells and not quite understanding he was murdering people by ringing those bells and how he was tragically misunderstood and locked away in the lonely and dark tower of his own mind. They thought about doing a broadway musical adaptation as well where they combined elements of both stories in a musical to be called: “Damn you, momma! You done damn lied to me!” but realized attempting to interweave both stories would prove impossible and the funding was pulled early on.
Part 3 will always be my personal favorite. Richard Brooker is the best Jason. In the first half of the film they where covering up his face to remain anonymous. Till he gets his hocky mask.
Happy 40th anniversary to Friday the 13th: Part 3. One of the best in the series. Back when Jason and the series was still scary and not a full blown silly cheesefest. Creepy music, creepy isolated location, hot and sexy girls, hot hammock love scene, nice brave final girl, the F13 film that introduced Jason wearing the hockey mask, good performance s And Richard Brooker as Jason, whom is the best Jason Voorhees: creepy, bulky, humanlike, and badass with an ugly yet spooky looking deformed face, not some slimy zombie as in the latter films. This was Friday the 13th at it's peak. The woods at night scene with Jason and the scene of him peeking through the window at Chris at the films end still scares the shit out of me. Happy 40th Part 3
My favorite Jason face! It was the most close to his childhood face, believeable, and human. Don't get me wrong, I loved that his next faces showed what the character had survived but I just love the human quality this version had. P.S. I wish someone was as excited to see me as Jason is in this scene. 😂
That music is what made the first 4 films. It's just scary. I play that music for my kids around Halloween and they get so scared just from listening. They don't even know what the movies are about. I will likely never let them watch them. I can't believe my parents let me watch all of them when I was a kid
Heard the actress who played the swampy Mrs. Voorhees corpse In the jumpscare had to stay down there in the water with gross lake bugs but got to keep the mask. Heard James mention it in the recount.

That's how I feel about the original face design or kid Jason from part I too. I recommend checking out the face design from 1939 version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame to see the closer resembles. I always wonder if Savini unconsciously based his make-up design from that film or inspired from Perc Westmore's work or maybe even lied about it. He apparently have said Jason's face was based on some deform homeless guy from his childhood. Who really knows.. Regardless, I still love those looks for Jason, and plus part III is one my favors from this series too.
Pamela Voorhees reprises her primary role in the franchise as the secondary antagonist of the 2017 game, appearing as her decapitated head in Jason's shack, and as a voice that only Jason hears, spurring him on to murder the counselors. Her sweater, which is required to kill Jason, can be worn by any female counselor, though Pamela's voice will immediately alert Jason to their presence upon arrival, unless the counselor entering the shack has Jason's mask in their inventory. Utilizing her sweater will cause the female counselor (this will not work with a male) wearing it to briefly stun Jason by impersonating Pamela. There are also 20 cassette tapes that randomly appear on the map, featuring Pamela having a discussion with the police about Jason's drowning. Throughout the tapes, Pamela becomes gradually more unhinged about wanting to find Jason. One tape contains a conversation between Pamela and Tommy Jarvis' father, the latter showing sympathy for the former's loss. These tapes also reveal that Pamela was impregnated with Jason when she was raped by an unknown man, and that she married Elias for protection (only in this game's continuity). Between the nineteenth and twentieth tape, Pamela, after having a fit of rage, confessed that she had murdered Elias because he was abusing her and Jason, and that he had told her to kill him. Pamela, furious at the police for doubting his capability due to Jason's deformities, storms out of the police station to find Jason herself. After the detective warns her that she could get hurt, Pamela defies his warning and declares that Camp Crystal Lake "now has a death curse" before leaving. The police decide that Pamela is too unstable to say anything truthful and lets her leave. It's possible that Pamela may become a playable killer in the game, though the developers admit that they would have to modify gameplay mechanics greatly to achieve this, and would prefer to focus on more important features of the game before considering Pamela's implementation.
