I love your recipes but this has become gulabjamun not risigulla as that's pure white
Gur rasgulla is of this colour not white because it soaks in the gur syrup. Gulaab jamun on the other hand has different ingredients and is deep fried before putting in sugar syrup.
Gulab Jamun is made differently. It doesn't have any cottage cheese, and is made from pure milk powder.
This is Bengali nolen gur er rosogolla. It is supposed to have that color. Please check your sources. Also we don't call that gulan jamun here, we call it PANTUA. Bengali terminology and variety of sweets differs from the preconceived notions of the rest of the country. Please educate yourself and be specific by using Bengali relevant terms when referring to Bengali sweets.
This is gurer rasogolla (date palm aggery rasogolla) and it is very much a Bengali delicacy...unfortunately not widely available in other parts of India...
This is another type of rosogolla which is made with jaggery, this is the speciality of winter
