That’s exactly what this Jeep is. The problem I found was the float bowl vent is pretty big on this carb, and it would evaporate the fuel out in a week leaving it quite hard to start as the bowl had to fill first. I have been told since putting it on that these indian made carbs aren’t so great. I have since adapted an SU carb onto it… because… why not? Its RUclips, and i can 😁
I think you may be better having your carb rebuilt by someone who is good with them, or exchanging it for a rebuilt one if cleaning it doesn’t work. It would bolt right back on with no changes and should then run properly if there are no other issues like ignition problems or low compression.
