@@ishajindal1985 When most of India is experiencing extreme heat this year, Sikkim can be a great escape, however, the peak season for tourists end by the initial weeks of June as the rainy season starts soon after. So it's recommend to check the weather forecast before making any booking. If it's not going to rain for any particular date, you're good.

June se rainy season start ho jata hai toh weather forecast check kar lena hai travel karne se pehle. Prepared rehna hai jaise ki kuch extra day(s) rakhna aur umbrella(s) carry karna. I had visited Sikkim in mid-March. The temperature would be 2-3 degrees more now but the weather would still be pleasant as the peak season continues.

June se actually rainy season shuru ho jata hai toh weather yoh cool aur pleasant rahega hi par aapko baarish ke liye bhi prepared rehna hoga. Matlab weather forecast check karlena, agar jyada baarish dikha raha hai toh trip ko postpone kar lena ya phir trip pe jaake kuch din extra rakhna. Gangtok ghumne me koi issue nahi hogi. West Sikkim me bhi koi issue nahi hoga. Par East ke Nathula aur North Sikkim ke taraf aapko thode issues ho sakte hain.
17th April ko mai wahi thi but mujhe nathula paas me weather khrab mila then jhankhu leke me achha tha
Haan aisa hota hai. Hum log jis din gaye the uske baad wale din bad weather ki wajah se Nathula nahi jane diya ja raha tha aur phir uske next din sab kuch thik tha. So unpredictable weather!

Hi. You can definitely find snow at places like Zero Point, Yumthang Valley and Katao. You can go to all these places from Lachung in a single day. The chances are less but, you may also find snow at Nathula. The weather will be great for sure.

From June, the rainy season starts, so the whole month of May is perfect. Gangtok, Nathula Pass, Gurudongmar Lake, Pelling, Lachung, Lachen are the most visited places but, Lachen & Gurudongmar lake are closed for visitors nowadays as several bridges were heavily damaged due to the cloud burst that happened last year. I think one should mix both popular tourist places and offbeat places in their itinerary. You can start from east (places like Zuluk) then head to Nathula and then to Lachung, Yumthang Valley & Zero Point, then to gangtok, Ravangla, namchi & pelling. You can go clockwise or anti-clockwise as your wish! Just a suggestion😊

City bus is not available there and getting a taxi is the only option to commute in Gangtok. They charge Rs. 200 to Rs. 300 to go from one place to another.

Ji haan bilkul ho sakti hai. Actually wind kaafi tezi se beh rahi hoti hai jiske liye thand jyada feel hota hai toh thoda prepared rahein aur haan camphor lena na bhulein.

You can find a bit of snow around Tsomgo lake, however, you'll find more snow from Tsomgo till Nathula.

@@harry1232244 No worries. Actually it's good to suggest friends and families not to travel in rainly season to the hilly areas. But, it's also about your willingness to travel no matter what comes your way and also luck, no? You may not get rain as the weather in those areas are such unpredictable and for sure, you'll find hotels at good prices.
So what I mean to say is, if you have already booked your tickets, then please take some precautions and have a good time.

@@harry1232244 Actually it's very simple. If you are traveling to Nathula or any other places in Sikkim, you need to get the permit yourself. Otherwise, the taxi drivers get it done for their passengers. Suppose you have to go to Nathula on June 3rd, talk to a travel agency guy on June 2nd which you can find in every nook and corner in Gangtok or to any taxi driver in Vajra taxi stand and provide the required documents (any of passport/voter ID/DlLs copy+2 passport size photo) and they will get it done for you.

Are the roads risk-free to travel in 3rd week of June?
I think you are going to drive there. Even if you aren't, the roads are indeed risky to drive on even for the locals. There are many landslide zones and not all are marked and you won't find sign boards at all such places. The peak season to travel to Sikkim ends in May because after that the rainy season starts. So you may find rain in the 3rd week of June which will make the roads even riskier. Rest, if you haven't already made the bookings, make sure to keep a few days extra.

The weather will be great at that time. I've actually lost the contact details of the driver who had taken us to Nathula but, don't worry. The drivers are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly at the same time. You can approach any tour and travel operator which you can get at every corner of Gangtok so that they can help you with PAP as well as the taxi. The taxi should cost around Rs. 6000 per vehicle. If I find the contact details of the driver, I'll surely share it with you.

Hum log silligudi se hi scooter hire krne wale hai 3 log hai.. To kya hum log Tshongo lake wagera 3 log ja skte h scooter pr Drivery licence wagera hai voter ID v hai to kya Tshongo lake ke liye v permit bnana hoga or scooter se to ja hi skte hai na 3 log domestic h to?
Ji Tsomgo lake ke liye bhi permit chahiye. Agar main samjha toh aap 3 log ek scooter pe jaane wale hain. Agar aisa hai toh woh most possibly allow nahi karenge. Aap 2-3 scooters/bikes le rahe hain tab toh Koi issue hi nahi hai. Aur bike rental service providers aapko permit ke baare me bhi jaankari de denge nahi toh aap Gangtok panhoch ke banwa lena kisi bhi tour agent ke paas se. Enjoy your trip!🙂

July rainy season hai aur favourable time nahi hai Sikkim jaane ke liye. Par aapne phir bhi decide kar liya hai toh kuch din extra jaroor rakhein kyunki aise bhi din ho sakte hain jab din bhar baarish ho ya phir landslides ya kisi aur wajah se agar Nathula Pass khula na ho toh aise reasons ke liye kuch din extra rakhna sahi hoga.
Which travel package will be better for 2 adults
I traveled with Thrillophilia and it was good. It did cost me 20k. You can find many less expensive options once you reach Gangtok. I had done quite a lot of research before making the booking and had finally zeroed I on Thrillophilia. Sikkim trip can be very expensive but you also have to choose a trustworthy website or service provider. Makemytrip, Thomas and Cook and many other service providers offer packages for Sikkim which you can check out according to your budget.
Is Nathula pass open now, planning to go on june 15
Nathula Pass is open through out the year apart from a few months in the winter due to heavy snowfall. In the summers as well, it gets closed on some days due to bad weather or heavy snowfall. Once you reach Gangtok, the taxi drivers will help you with the PAP and they are the ones who will let you know if it's open or not because they get the news from the officials.
We are planning a bike trip to Gangtok, is it safe?
After May 15th can we see snowfall??
You can definitely go to Sikkim on your bike, however, if you are planning to explore more than Gangtok and you are solo, then it won't be recommended. If you are planning to do it with your friends, then alright. You will find snow in North Sikkim in places like Yumthang Valley and Zero Point and may find some in Nathu La as well.

Yes. The Gangtok Airport (PYG) is very much operational. I just checked if a flight is available from New Delhi. If you can't find direct flight from your city to Gangtok, you can check flights for Bagdogra as the options will be more.

If flight from your city to Gangtok is not available, Bagdogra is the next best option. The number of flights that run till Gangtok is lesser than till Bagdogra.

2022 me ham Darjiling gaye the Train Ek din pahle cancel hua. fir bhi jaise taise dusri train lekar Darjiling pahuche.. abhi Recent Uttarakhand gaye the vapsi ki train 10 ghante late. Total 30 ghante Train me aur 10 ghante Station me bitane ko majboro huye..😪 Isliye train ka koi bharosa nahi.
Rajesh ji, aap yakin nahi karenge par last 2 saal me maine jitne bhi train journeys kiye hain, ek bhi train time pe nahi aayi. Aur 2-3 ghanta late hona aam sa ho gaya hai. Ab too aadat si hi ho gayi hai.

Near Gangtok, Nathula especially after Tsomgo lake till Nathula is the place to find show. Now you can't go to Gurudongmar lake, however, you can go to Lachung and near that, Katao, Yumthang Valley and Zero Point are the places where you can find snow which my next video wll be all about.
If I travel via public transport till gangtok , Can I go to nathula pass also? Is that any sharing cap facility there? And how can I apply for pass also
You can travel with public transport till Gangtok without issues. Sharing cabs and bus are available from Siliguri. Then you can also find sharing cabs for Nathulal as well. It will cost you ₹1000-1200 as compared to ₹6000 for a whole cab. For local sightseeing you can hire a taxi for ₹2000 for 10 spots.

It hasn't opened after the flash flood that happened last year. Some says it's going to open in 2-3 months while some says that it's going to take more than a year. Let's hope it opens soon.

Mujhe November first week me Darjeeling Jana h kewal nathula pass sikkim me ghumna h ek din me Darjeeling se jana or aana ho payega or us smay barf rhta h ya nhi
Gangtok to Nathula Pass jaane aur lautne me hi aapka 6-7 hours chala jayega. Darjeeling to Gangtok sharing taxis run karte hain aur regular intervals me jisme about 3.5 - 4 hours lagte hain. Toh ek din me Darjeeling to Nathula Pass and back possible nahi ho payega kyunki PAP bhi chahiye aapko. Toh aapko Gangtok me ek din rukna padega. Matlab aap ek evening me Gangtok panhoch ke, PAP ke liye kisi Taxi wale se baat kar lijiye, morning me as early as possible Nathula ke liye nikal jaiye aur jaldi Gangtok wapas aake phir Darjeeling ke taraf badh jaiye. November me aapko badhiya snow milega aur mazza aayega.

Honestly, 1 saal ke baby ko toh maine nahi dekha Nathula ya Changu lake me par 4-5 saal ke kaafi bacchon ko dekha. Toh sure hoke yeh keh pana muskil hai mere liye. Let's hope koi reply kare jo 1 saal se chote bacchon ke saath gaye hon.

The peak season to visit Sikkim is going on right now, however, the only issue is rain. I was checking the weather forecast now and found that it's going to rain in the next few days. Otherwise the temperature will be very pleasant there.
Can we go nathula pass with 4 year kid in may
I saw quite a few kids who seemed like below 5 years of age and I don't think they were facing any issues. We even had a conversation with a family who had such a kid and everything was fine with them. So that can be considered as an assurance that the kid will be alright. And May is a great time to be in Nathula.👍🏼

Can we go to nathula pass by bike ??
Definitely and that's the most amazing way to reach Nathula. You can rent a bike from Gangtok or take your own bike. If you are taking your own bike then, the following documents will required for Two-Wheelers/Motor Bike Permit
Registration certificate of the Bike
Driving License
Pollution certificate
Insurance certificate
Passport size Photo (2 nos)
Identity proof of rider and co-rider
We met some riders on the way who had come from West Bengal and had their own bikes.

Main gaya tha last month. Snow aapko Nathula me milne ke chances kam hain par aap lucky hain toh kabhi bhi snowfall ho sakta hai. Waise thoda thoda toh mil hi jayega. Uske alawa North Sikkim ke Katao Valley, Yumthang Valley aur Zero Point me bhi snow milega.
Par ek baat toh hai ki Sikkim ka peak season ab chal raha hai March se leke June tak.

I don't think there's any other way to obtain a PAP because those are the only documents which are mentioned on Sikkim's official website. www.sikkimtourism.gov.in/Public/TravellerEssentials/pap If you wish, you can still check with any local tour operator by checking their contact details online.
Kitna pada nathula baba and changu lake ka package?
Maine Gangtok, Nathula, Lachung aur Yumthang ka package Thrillophilia se liya tha Rs. 20k ka. Waise Gangtok se Nathula, Baba Mandir aur Changu Lake ka Rs. 6000 lete hain taxi wale. Sharing wala taxi bhi mil jata hai Rs. 1000-1200 me.

Maine toh 3-4 saal ke bacchon ko dekha Nathula Pass me. Lag nahi raha tha ki kisi ko koi issue ho rahi thi. Saath me camphor jaroor le jayen aur oxygen ke cans ke liye ek check post pe pucha bhi jata hai.

June se actually rainy season start ho jayega toh July me bhi waisa hi weather rahega. Aapko kuch din extra rakhne honge. Baaki ghumne ke liye aap har jagah jaa sakte hain jaise Gangtok, Nathula aur west Sikkim ke Namchi, Pelling, Ravangla jaise jagah aasani se ja sakte hain. North me Lachen aur Gurudongmar lake toh band hai, aap Lachung, Katao, Yumthang Valley aur Zero Point jaise jagah bhi ja sakte hain. Next episode me kuch dikhaya hai north Sikkim ka.

Main gaya tha mid-march me. Abhi temperature 2-3 degrees celcius badha hoga par phir bhi 25 degrees celcius se kam hi hai maximum as per most of the websites. Peak season chalu hai May end and June first week tak.

As far as I remember it was Rs. 150 or Rs. 200.

July to September tak rainy season hota hai aur tab yahan jaane pe kaafi issues ho sakte hain jaise ki landslides aur road blockages. Agar aapne decide kar liya hai toh prepared rahen aur kuch extra days rakhen. Weather lekin bahot accha hoga tab matlab temperature.

Breathing problem kya jyada Hota hai
Sabko nahi hoti par prepared rehna better hota hai. Gangtok se nikalte time oxygen can ke liye pucha jata hai. Uska shayad ₹600-700 charge karte hain. Aur camphor ek accha option hai ₹10 ka ek packet kaafi hota hai.

Is it safe to go North Sikkim with a 2 year old kid??
It would have been an issue if Gurudongmar lake was open and you would have gone there. But, it's not possible to go there nowadays. So you can go to Lachung and Yumthang Valley with the kid, however, it won't be advisable to take him/her with you to places like Zero Point (Yumesamdong) because of it's really high altitude.

Taxi charges kitna laga zero point me
Iss video me maine Gangtok to Nathula pass tak dikhaya hai. Taxi fare Rs. 6000 per vehicle ka hota hai jisme aap 4-5 log jaa sakte hain aur is isme PAP ke charges included hote hain. North Sikkim ke baare me next video me bataya hai. Gangtok to Lachung aur phir wahan se Yumthang Valley ka maine Thrillophilia se package liya tha 20k ka jiske saath Nathula Pass bhi included hota hai. Gangtok to Lachung ka toh exactly nahi bata sakta but expensive hoga taxi fare, maybe 8-10k or more ek taraf ka. Wahan se Yumthang Valley ka lete hain around 3000 aur phir wahan se Zero Point ka additional 2500. Toh hamesha se yeh recommended raha hai aur main bhi recommend karunga ki aap koi package le lein kisi bhi trusted site se ya phir Gangtok aake kisi travel agency se.

Pap kaise banata hai bhaiya
Yeh hume khud tab banwane ki jarurat tab padti hai jab hum khud ki bike leke jate hain. Baaki aur saare cases me jaise ki taxi me hum jaate hain Nathula ya aur protected areas toh yeh taxi wale/tour operators bana lete hain. Toh uska jo bhi charge hota hai woh taxi fare me included hota hai.
Aapko bas yeh karna hai ki shaam ko kisi taxi wale se baat kar leni hai next day agar jana hai Nathula Pass toh. Aur aapko original Driving Licence/Passport/Voter ID me se koi ek aur 2 passport size photograph rakhne honge apne paas.

Permit me toh Rs. 200 likha hua hota hai per person but, taxi fare me yeh included hota hai aur woh Kitna charge karte hain yeh keh paana muskil hai.

June or july main snow hoga kya ?
June & July me snow milna mushkil hai. Agar kisi wajah se achanak se mausam kharab ho gaya toh snowfall ho sakta hai. Snow ke liye sab se accha time hai winters (December to February) aur after winters (March & April). June & July me rainy season bhi rahega jo ki favourable time nahi hai Sikkim ke liye.
November kaisa hoga
November bahot accha time hai Sikkim jaane ke liye. Temperature 5 se 15 degrees celcius ke beech rahenge. Aur North sikkim me snow bhi mil jayega.
