The thirst time in life i replaced the screen for my 4 year old labtop. The pavilion dv6 is a very reliable modell, I had never problems with it. The screen broke because a mistake of myself. I ordered it by ebay, the seller helped me find the correct screen. The video is very made excellent, escpecially for beginner. Thanks a lot.

Very useful. My bad thing is not the screen. Flex Cable is the issue touch ground and turn automatically off the computer.

so my computer has the issue that a few pixels lines arent changing colour, if i touch roughly where the 40 pin connector is it makes it worse.
so i assume the connection is broken. so my question, if the screen end is broken does that mean replacing lcd?

if the connection at the top is damaged (not the screen), do you have recommendations on how to replace it?

Le cambiaré la pantalla a una FHD, vi en un video que se podía, siempre y cuando tenga el conector de 40 pines y esté ubicado a la derecha, alguien más lo intentó???
