Made me forget that I was even listening to fan made music, I genuinely felt as if I was listening to the new album the day it came out last year. The music that you make, man, is pretty much what I expected Metallica to turn into; a group that explored themselves instead of sticking to the same song structures over and over again trying to recreate their past albums. Hardwired and 72 Seasons were great, but they could've been more with songs like this, Severed Ties! and Malleus added, which would've added to their music depth and complexity rather than copy-and-pasting the same exact song with different details. 72 Seasons was a lot better at getting out of the norm and bringing more of the creativity to the structures of the songs, but still too much of trying to recreate what made them them, instead of expanding as they went; and this is the exact reason(in my opinion) that Metallica has lost the MASSIVE... amount of hype that they used to have more than 3 decades ago. This creativity seemed to begin to narrow after And Justice For All, even though the Black Album was a banger,
