Ah, it works after some messing around. Try to ensure path is exactly /dashboard/. Otherwise try to replace web with websecure - could be your DNS provider have Force-HTTPS on.
Love that you keep updating old videos with the newest specifications. Say we have multiple IngressRoute to multiple dashboard (e.g. traefik, grafana) etc. However, I want to restrict this access to only trusted members (e.g. employees). How can we achieve this? From my research, it seems that wireguard (a vpn) might do the trick, but I am not sure how secure this is. Can you kindly advise, or probably make a video about it in the future :)
Hi thanks for watching. Basic authentication won't be sufficient for your usecase. May be you could set up an apache or nginx proxy in between that handles the authentication and authorization, also you can hook it up with your identity sources like AD or LDAP and configure group authorization etc.
Hello, firstly - thank you very much for all your work put into this playlist. It's definitely the best one I've seen! But I'm stuck with one thing - have you ever tried to expose official kubernetes-dashboard using IngressRoute in Traefik? For some reason I can't make it work properly. When I create IngressRoute pointing to the "kubernetes-dashboard" svc on 443, I get "Internal Server Error". Thank you.
Hi Michal, Thanks for watching. I can’t remember whether I tried that. Probably I might have but again can’t remember whether that worked. Its been a while since I played with Traefik.
I have been stuck getting this to work for a while now and sir you are a blessing, thank you!!
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching.
