    Iam rly happy to se someone who understand how a heatsink work.
    99% in other Videos just screw the heatsink to the Motor with no thermal compound.
    Which made the heatsink pretty useless.
    I whish all rc hobby people would get this.

    I usually just use computer thermal pads. much easier to replace and clean up even if you lose some transfer efficiency.

    I think we need a test of stock vs heat sink vs body holes

    I thought my speakers were broken. There were times I was running at 100 percent max volume and could barely hear. :(

      No they just speak relaxed and the music covers the speaking. It happens to many people. They are not all the people pro in editing and video making. Just need practice hoe close to the mic you speak, what mic you have and how loud is the music you add to the video.

    Thermal Paste for computers works really well. Ive personally never had to use it but have friends who have.
    That Traxxas rally car is an amazing RC. Very diverse. I have 1 that is heavily modified.
    Theres an intro video of it on my channel, if yould like to see the direction ive went with mine.
    Thanks for the great video, guys.

    Sorry I’m late but do you recommend the glue to protect the body? Like does it make it stronger in what way?

    • @3X7Outdoor
      @3X7Outdoor  Год назад

      it makes it incredibly stronger while staying flexible and able to take sharp hits very easily. its also prevents paint from rubbing off in the place it is applied. we do it to all our cars

    I would hate to put any of that paste on my motor. Pretty cool that it works though.

    Are you sure about this low temperature ? Because is very low temperature i believe after the heatsink and motor and thermal paste. Also, as i know from pc processors, you must put very little amoun of thermal paste between metal surfaces. Just a little bit to cover the metal surfaces and not huge amount and maybe you see even lower temperatures. Try it maybe it works better like this.

    Doing donuts to get it hot with bo air flow and then after test it on a straight road with insane airflow the result has nothing to do with the heat sink. And the heat sink onky works when u have airflow doibg donuts standing still still gets it way to hot

      Nope! Traxxas actually sells a chassis brace for the rustler 4x4 VXL which we fitted on to the fiesta! 🪅
