Meh, not nearly the best. I could show hundreds of scenarios where the male protagonist over came his limitations for his lover that were FAR better. Ichigo just suddenly "deciding" and having that boost then saying "sorry Grimmjow" is a cop out. Also just an FYI, Grimmjow immediately counters and impales Ichigo after this crap, this video cuts that. It WOULD have been cooler if Ichigo 1 shot him after that, but he didn't
@@justsomeguywithagoatee8337 thing is Ichigo didnt overcome his limits, he could've done that alot sooner but was worried about Orihime being scared, so he held back like half of the time, did the same thing to Donpanini. Plus he had to tank those five shots from Grimmjow to save her and Nel so yeah. Also the fact that Ichigo CAN tank all of those hits kinda shows he was stronger. If anything its annoying of how Ichigo either holds back all the time or doesnt know how to use his own techniques.

@Malthizar Well you are right, but you can see such a thing in other animes too. For example in Dragon Ball, Goku's first SSJ transformation was also badass but later on it was just "AARGH" and bam, or even only "bam, i am SSJ". But if it had been showed in badass way every single time, we would have 500 episodes instead of 300 xD.

Remember if not for old man Zangetsu/Yhwach suppressing his powers Ichigo couldve grown with White/Zangetsu and used shikai for most of his fights.
