I was aware of R Kelly's proclivities toward underage girls. I stopped playing his music certainly not publicly because that bothered me..like you are rich now...go get a grown woman. I had no clue about how deep this entertainment rabbit holes goes. But keep in mind some of us were just regular folk in school, working, many single Moms raising our children the best way we knew...with no connection to the inner workings of Hollyweird. If she had pursued a case against him when all of this occurred, then other victims could’ve come forward and they collectively could have gone after him. Do you not realize that the statue limitations in this case has run out? That’s why people were upset that Cassie took the money. Because she knew that the statute of limitations had run out. If she had pursued a case against him when all of this occurred, then other victims could’ve come forward and they collectively could have gone after him. So Cassie knew that the only thing she was going to get out of this was money and she needed it because her husband doesn’t make any money. And let’s be honest just because Cassie loves music doesn’t mean that she can sing. In terms of getting the money, Cassie also agreed to sign an NDA. So she can never write a book, she can never be deposed in court, and she can never speak of him. So yes, she did sell out. She was with him for 10 years wanted to marry him, got engaged to him, they break up, and she waits till five years after they break up, and ironically she marries the very trainer that Diddy hired for her after she was already pregnant by the trainer.
