Every time I watch your content I feel like I am watching a Netflix show! 😍 So well done!
Right lol
Only SLA is much better than anything on Netflix 😁
I truly agree with you. When you are watching the videos it’s like grab your popcorn this is going to be amazing and everything and everyone is gone and it’s just us lol
@@JamesCouch777 Bwhahaha totally agree. 100% AUTHENTIC.
@@ArizonaKid Yes! lol
I think the 6 wheels deserve a name, she is beautiful, strong, versatile and do awesome all the time.
“The chickens love it. They’re ungrateful but they love it”........no truer chicken words ever spoken!🤣🤣
what is up with those bot comments??
Could you let me know the brand or type of strainer you use for tomatoes etc. Looks like good quality
That's exactly what it's like with children sometimes too. 😅
I'm sure you have a multitude of reasons for not uploading more vids - I'm happy with however many I see. Factor in travel time, spring clean-up, taking care of your animals/bees, checking comments, checking in on your favorite channels, testing recipes and finally filming and editing. It's a wonder you guys accomplish as much as you do. Thanks so much!
You guys should have your own tv show, the music you choose is epic!! Thanks for letting us watch.y’all are the 💣!
The bees are bringing in so much pollen on their legs they're wobbly. ❤ Good bees!!
I can’t believe at the number of people who doesn’t like your videos. It amazes me cause you all give such great information on allot of things. I love watching your videos and I have learned so much keep up the great videos.
I truly believe Alaska is mother nature's masterpiece, it is just so freaking beautiful! Love the drone pictures and the editing in this video!!!
There's something very satisfying about a shed full of wood.
Same some people look at a big bank account and they think of it as security. Where I would think a full log store is security
So TRUE!!!
When my uncle was about 60 he spent two summers getting logs in his forest, splitting them drying over the winter and then finally making forewood. Hydralic log splitter off of a PTO shaft and then a big electrical cicular saw cutting it to lenght. 1000 square feet shed, filled to the top of the ceiling, 7.5 feet high. There was nearly a quarter of it left when he died a few years back.
@@ceselb sorry for your loss
Thank you! Thirty minutes away from all the insanity of life
So true 👍
I agree too !
Very true amazing couple
Next time my GF gets on my case when I'm tired and just want to spend a Saturday afternoon being lazy on the couch , I'm going to look her in the eye and say " Babe , I think I've gone Broodie for the weekend " . 😅
Wish me luck !
LMAO
It'll be fine until she asks for fresh eggs. XD
You two always pick the exact music for the scenes. Very bold, just like the scenery. Well done. I love your cinematography….& your food, & fishing & building & etc…..
Three things I learned from you guys today:
1. How to break a broody chicken
2. How to check for eggs under a ‘mean’ chicken
3. Takes about 50 minutes to fill a 325 gallon tank
Love your channel
Next lesson. How to cook a mean chicken
Me too
Dumplings coming up.
Every time I see one of these videos showing daily projects I think you are really living the life! Planning ahead, putting down roots, still having fun, growing a life worthwhile. So happy for you and hope you had a a really delicious supper. True frontier people that made our country great!
What a beautiful shot of bees bringing in the pollen! Best illustration of days ahead of you:))
Iam so glad That I.got this channel I love what you do You two are and true inspiration. You are living the dream
Loved the bees, wood mushroom, and the sky shots.
Your production of your videos is sooooo good! Great content too.
Definitely a thumbs up to pepper for pooping in the garden. Lol that’s freakin hilarious. I love that cat.
Your rooster is magnificent, love his coloring in the sunshine.
All that work sure makes me hungry. Spring work is the best, good Job folks
I love watching what you are ALL up to,like spying on the farmers down the road, making sure my starts are as far along as you all's. We share the same view- from down Yoder Rd. Your hard work inspires me in my garden efforts. Take care!
You both make me feel relax Everytime I watch your videos!
Thanks 😍😍😍😍 watching from Algeria 🇩🇿❤
Love watching you kids thrive! I’m sure it’s hard but I absolutely love watching how well you are doing. I’ve watched every episode and always look forward to the next! Keep up the great work and thank you!
I've watched just about all your videos and I am totally amazed at all you two do! You have built a wonderful homestead and should be right proud. The filming and editing are great, and love the drone footage. Of course, lots of love and hugs to Bo, Bandit, and Pepper, and bless sweet Hunter. You two make me want to be 30 years younger again!
Love the footage at the beginning. It is so breathtaking sceneries.
Birch burns well even green. Another great video.
Great video! Can’t wait to see your canning videos form your garden and all those amazing jams you make! Watching your videos is like a movie series and look forward to seeing them and thanks for sharing.
You guys are a couple badasses. I've been binge watching y'all's channel. So informative thanks and keep up the good work
Too tired to film dinner. Damn that was a long ass day guys! You both look so healthy and fit. Those chickens are thriving and look so beautiful! Can't wait for the next one.
I and my family absolutely love your channel and look forward to every new video!
Love how you take care of your chickens, your garden, your bees, your fruit trees, go fishing, take your mini vacations to your cabin and wonder when you're going again and explore the area around your cabin and if the fishing is good there?
But what we especially love about you two is how you love fur babies and take such great care to feed them nutritionally healthy food !
What can I say, we just absolutely love everything about your channel!
Love how you both work so well together and prepare such delicious looking foods!
I suppose you have been told how you guys are such an awesome inspiration! Well here's another thank you for being such a great inspiration!
Please keep the videos coming regardless of how short they are, but the longer the better for me and my family cause we just love watching what and how you live your awesome life!
Beautiful. Can't wait for the harvest videos!!!
This is my comfort channel 🥺❤️
The sound in your video's is perfect! Good music too.
Thank you so much for sharing these. This life you live is only a dream for some people.
Love it. Music and drone footage is awesome 😎.
I'm exhausted watching you both Ariel and Eric. But that's why you both look so young, healthy and happy. Your life and what you have created is truly Amazing. I salute you both. Hug's to you both and "pepper" "bandit" and "bo" from Australia x
Loved your intro footage and music. And the rest of the content of course. Great stuff.
Made me giggle, love y'all.. @16:45 man that's a pretty bird.
Stay safe and Beautiful..💝
I love the way you guys work together! 😉
I liked the winter videos but I'm glad spring is back. You're at home more and we get to see more of the cat. (Which I think is named Pepsi based on a 2 year old vid posted but Idk lol)
I just love how close your animals hang around you while you do work. Little furry managers making sure you're doing work right.
Again,
I love your stories. Wonderful life!
Hey U2, really enjoy the videos and cannot wait for the next set!!! I can't tell you how much I've learned!!!!
Why don't you guys make videos every day....Me and my wife can see your videos for the whole day long...Love from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Editing and filming can take days and is very hard. I prefer when they put in effort to the vids because it shows how much they like it and want to produce good content. No one wants rushed videos.
They work their land during the day, plus laundry and crop prep- lots of care and time involved. It takes time to edit videos too.
I highly recommend playing their playlist and watch all of their videos from the beginning. Not only does that support their channel with ad money but also gives you incredible content to enjoy for days! Nothing beats the potato harvest or the cold storage build. I'm proud to admit I've watch those videos 3 or 4 times since covid began... 😝
❤😂 it sure is possible to watch their videos all day long.
Hello from a fellow Edmontonian 😊
One more thing planned for the day and it wasn't a meal... You are both such hard workers, holy cow.
I have watched so many of your videos now that Ai seek out one that I HAVENT watched with eagerness! I need to go back in time and do what you guys are doing !
Hi guys I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing! May God bless you and your families!😁❤️
starting part of the video is poetry
U can make birch oil out of the birch wood, and make a glue stick to repair fruit branches, enjoyed this video,u have worked so hard, and your lovely cabin is proof of it. Found the birch oil idea on survivor Lilly channel.
Great video.
I love all your projects especially the gardening and the bees but that woodshed you guys built just rocks, it's a very cool looking necessary and functional building.
Well done!
Another great video with an awesome intro - thank you !
❤️ you guys! My happy place.
I always cut a line down the bark before I stack a round of birch. It helps it cure faster and prevents it from going punky to fast. The bark holds in the moisture and cutting it allows a way out. Thanks for the video
Good video you two
I would love to come and spend a week. I'm a retired nurse and sure could learn the outside life!
Your b-roll shots are so good. I love the views. So different from where I live 😊
I'm watching and thinking two things: 1) I should get out my seeds and start planting. 2) I'm glad I live near a grocery store.
How’s it feel knowing u guys have more subscribers than there are people in all of anchorage? Must feel great
A little hint from fellow firewood foragers...if you run your chainsaw (about the teeth depth, you want to get through the bark and into the meat a bit) along the length of your birch, aspen, cottonwood (and the like) before you cut it in pieces, the wood will dry out a lot faster.
Just stacking wood you two make it interesting. Wishing I was 30 years younger. Lol. Keep up with great videos.
it's very relaxing and entertaining to watch your video
I see all the birch bark on your firewood and think of all the baskets that could have been made. It has to be harvested before the tree is cut. I am not a lazy person but all the work involved in your lifestyle would be too much for me. I lived in a log cabin and loved it but did it too late in my life. Love watching you!
A lot of work for sure but everything is looking very good. Very enjoyable video.
Fantastic videos that are shared regarding your Alaskan lifestyle. Would love to take a peek inside your cabin (main home) and take a tour to learn how you manage home projects/chores. Appreciate the in-depth tricks that have helped to create a successful life in the far north. Huge kudos to you as you continue to navigate the many challenges of Alaskan living. Thanks!
And so it begins.
Beautiful drone footage and some different music, nice job!
Hey all!
A meaningful, peaceful, self-sufficient life set in such a pristine slice of nature...yours is the kind of life I would love to lead. Thank you for your channel!
They aren’t self sufficient. At all.
@@ItzzTesta what are they lacking?
@@ItzzTesta Why in the world would you think they aren’t self sufficient?
I loved putting out new hay for the girls. They would tunnel under it and I got kick out of the moving ‘mounds’. They made the most contented sounds.
Great show as always, looking foward to you cooking again soon I hope (smile) - love seeing your cat outside - best wishes from Jomtien beach Thailand
if what cheap heat source use 1 gal milk jugs made from plastic and just paint them black and fill with water and set in the sun and then put in the high tunnel at night

Simple Living Alaska When I have broody hens I put one of those blue freezer packs, wrapped in a towel under them. Their temperature comes down pretty fast that way and they are out of their broody state without causing them and their hormones too much stress.
good to now, thanks for the tipp❣
I loved your intro! And the rest of the video! You always make interesting video’s.
I dig the chainsaw art and Eric's hippie shirt! Looks like it won't be long before you're in a beautiful, lush garden. ☮️ Peace and love 💜 from Kimberly in South Dakota 💙❤️
I love the way you give HD and Lowes equal air time with the buckets! Need to see more of sweet Beau.
The HD one broke half way through ;)
Wonderful content! Just found tall and binged! Gotta say your drone shots have become phenomal! Thank you for the content
love your vlogs..really like it wgen you harvest your vegetables..it always amazed me..keep safe lovely couple..from The Philippines with love😊💞
Anyone else think 2 videos a week? Ones just not doing it! You guys are killing it! Love all your content
Beautiful kitty!
Thanks for the update! Love you guys!
Love you two!!
Beautiful rooster
I kind of jokingly but not really tried yo convince my husband to move to Alaska 🤣 its not a possibility because we live in B.C., Mexico and dont even have visas lol but me finding and falling in love with your channel coincided with us diciding on what kind of land/house we wanted/could afford to buy... Long story short we ended up deciding on a out of town but big rustic plot of land mainly becuase of the price but also because i would love to have a big garden, a high tunnel, chicken coop, and hopefully a root cellar 😅🤣 i have always wanted fresh milk and nata so i would add a cow 🐄 lifestyle is #goals! Good thing my husband has also always wanted to live in a ranch so its similar. He focuses more on a ranch style house and tools lol but anyway thank you for your inspiring content and for giving us a vision of what we would like! My husband doesnt speak english so I translate your videos 😃
Love to séjour cat arround... thank you Ariel
Love your videos. Stay safe and well.
As always, a great video. Thanks! ❤️❤️
OoO those broody chickens. Once a mum, always a mum. Cool that you can use bees wax to fix your trees! Gosh, guys... We love learning from you two! And that opening sequence!!!! BOOOM! You two are really nailing the b-roll and tunes. Just sayin'. Big love from Ontario CAD. Just moved into our bus. Life is good. - E + B
the chickens , thats just kool
I wish you had a front porch. Everytime I see your house I say that.☺️
Love watching you both working hard for your dream life,
Some advice on your poly tunnel base, think about placing an sacrificial 8" x 1" board around the base then gravel, this will reduce gaps.
Gah, the little bees with the legs full of pollen are the cutest!
In the darkroom watching between patients😊 makes my day
HEY, Y'ALL!
Please make a video regarding your chickens. Life, feeding, winter care, killing, and processing. Can you can chicken? I remember canning pork with my aunt in the mountains of Virginia in 1965. Wish I could go back...such a wonderful life. Hard work, family, and traditions held for 100 years..
This channel is amazing 👏 videos are great. Thanks for the ideas for projects and living for my homestead. I just started a couple days ago watching this Channel. Makes me excited to do some of the same stuff
Another great video, thank you!!! Your videos give me something to look forward to watch!!! Hands down way better than what is on the tv
now days!!!!
Awesome video as always.
I am so grateful for your incredible and wonderful videos! Makes me want to explore Alaska even more. You have a great relationship with each other, the animals, and nature. It is awe-inspiring to watch. ❤️ From California
