Theory: According to my plan, Josh Boone's groundbreaking film (above) would represent our XCU fictional future year 2023 -- exactly six years before events in Logan 2029. This particular XCU history gap is an excellent place in linear time for "The New Mutants 2" and "The New Mutants 3" sequels to take place in their own contained universe -- while bridging over into Logan 2029. I have incorporated Charles Xavier and Kitty Pryde for this revised concept, because they are quintessential to The New Mutants full story. It also means, Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) later re-materializes. Surprise! _c.

I've been waiting a long tyme to see this film finally happen. i'm a huge fan of the new mutants.i think they truly deserve a film series of their own like the x-men
