it depends on the minor. If you are in accounting and add a management minor, you probably won't add very much time. But instead if you were in accounting and wanted to add a Spanish minor, you might be tacking on some extra time. I would recommend talking to your program counselor about this and getting a plan written down to stick to.
Hello.. Lynn can u tell me how often do the professors of mcs1000,psyc1000,econ1100 not provide these courses in the summer semester?.. have you ever been through a situation like this? Or do u know someone who have been? According to the program councellors sometimes the professors doesn't teach these courses in summer.
The program counselors are correct. I never looked for any of those courses in the summer because I took them in the fall or winter if i took them at all. You could try and uae the course planner on the webadvisor website to see of they were offered this summer (if the listings are still up for this past summer) otherwose you can look through the emails for the depaetment heads of marketing, economics, and psycology to just directly ask them

They are run by students with lots of experience and they also have more complete information about the application process. So if there are absolutely no seats in any section, email the department for your major (for example I would email the BComm department) but if there are available seats in an undesirable section, they won't do anytjing for you, you will just have to keep watching for a seat to open in the section you want If for some reason you can not possibly take a seat in the undesirable section and you neeeed to have a seat in a certain time section that is full, there is a form that can be filled out where you ask the prof for permission to overload that section and give you a seat. That would also probably be an email to the prof and the department. Dont be afraid to email or call! you got this! and good luck :)

@@bantikakotisaikia2523 it is harder to tell if you are cheating or not. I have had DE profs who just make all quizzes open book and the questions are harder and there is a time limit. So in that case the time pressure prevents you from going into the quiz not having any information, and the difficulty of the questions makes it so that they arent easily searchable. There is also the ability for profs to use lockdown browser with respondus. The lockdown browser prevents you from opening any tab except the quiz or midterm tab on your computer and the respondus is a video monotoring service that watches you to make sure you arent on your phone or in your notes while in the exam. So it is much harder to prevent cheatibg in DE courses, but profs are figuring it out and they also just make the course harder to allow for some of that benefit from cheating to be balenced out
Hi .Do you know why it shows I’m not eligible for registration.Is it because the registration link isn’t opened yet or because I’ve deferred my semester coz I have not received my visa yet
I have found that my seminars are way more useful than lectures because I get more one on one attention. For example in my intro accounting course there were like 500 in my lecture but my seminar only had 20 people and our TA would make a point of learning our names and holding us accountable for our own education by asking us questions in seminar and almost peer pressuring us into doing our homework. For me that was useful and it really helped me learn but if I really hadn't done the homework or I was too tired to go to class, I could skip with basically no reprocussions. In classes with no seminar but there are still TAs, the TAs are only in charge of grading, no teaching or student interaction. And if ever I thougut they had miss marked a paper I could email them and almost always I would convince them I was right (either by actually being right or just being so much of an annoyance that they would change my grade just to get rid of me. So overall i have never really had a bad experience with a TA, but then again I purposefully try to be reasonable and give up pretty easily if the TAs give push back.
if you need books they will tell you in the syllabus (course outline) which specific ones to buy and now-a-days there is almost always an online e-book option to buy. so yes you will be provided with which exact books you need, but you have to buy them separate from the cost of tuition
