I find for hard to prime grease guns, heating the new cartridge takes an enormous amount of frustration away. Around 100F does the trick, especially in cold weather

You should never need to heat the grease cartridge. If you can’t prime it in cold weather then store your cartridges indoors and load them in the house. Also many manufacturers make low temp grease so if you have trouble priming your gun in the cold, then perhaps you are using the wrong grease for your application. Hope this video was still helpful.
