Ok this is actually pretty cool, if you can adapt this into your own version of a keycap then it's legal to sell, but these seem worth experimenting with such as recoloring, great video lewis

the "illegalness" (thats a made up word but you get what i mean) of this is like like pirating anime which a lot of us do

even if it isnt illegal its still extremely scummy to do. many keycap makers (myself included) spend days crafting these, making molds, resin casting and then finishing, and for someone to just do this it feels quite scummy.
