This is perfect. I was hoping you would stream this. Hope you had fun. Edit-2 hours in and this has been a great run. You are absolutely stacked, couldn't get too much luckier with items. Except for throwing that wishing stone away lol
Jared, the most important item in the game is heart pieces, because that's the one thing Aganim(spelling) doesn't take away from you. If you would have bought that one heart piece you skipped out on, you may have defeated him. I think it takes 5 bomb hits and you were almost there! So close, great attempt though!
Me when he looked away from the screen while still hovering on the popsicle: "He's going to accidentally buy that". The gem bag is so good too. It's chance you'll come across the keystones you need but the rewards are worth it.
Man...the link to the past intro theme just installs the core memory of staying home sick from school, drinking juice and eating crackers while watching Mom play the Nintendo. It may sound weird but when I was growing up watching video games was always a treat when stayed home sick since we weren't allowed to play games if we weren't feeling well enough for school and cartoons werent allowed until after 3:30 unless it was Saturday or Sunday morning.
Great parenting, taught you not to lie and fake being sick just to get to play games but still enabled you to enjoy life and bond with your mother if you were actually sick
This was a fantastic watch party, also shout out to the pendant that became the star immune to spikes and explosions. I can't imagine trying to get to the bottom without it
Missed three things in the first village 1. Behind one of the pillars at the entrance 2. Behind the last bookshelf in the library 3. Pick up chickens! You never know what you'll get
@@KairuHakubi yeah, pretty much. kind of a bad design decision. I believe the creator made the fight the way it is due to burn-out or something like that.
@@FireSonicYT it's good as a joke, but it would be better if midway through the fight, you get your items back.. and also if it wasn't stupidly hard. That said, not sure how you can make a final boss in a randomized game fun, nobody's ever done it yet that i'm aware of.
That was an awesome run. Things I thought you’d never get you actually did. Like the bomb puzzle. And you were SO close to winning. You knocked Aganim into you.1 step back you could’ve won. And I guess I didn’t know about this channel. That’s why I didn’t see this sooner.
After you use the powder on the tree kid when he asks for it say no, drop it, talk to him again, and say yes to the trade. You'll get Bombos, and keep the powder. Also missed 3 chests in town.
I imagine that being in prison would be a sort of vacation for a woman with 13 sons. You could catch up on sleep, do some reading, institute an exercise regime, daydream... Sounds like a good time. If we are ignoring all the dead bodies in the dungeon that is.
It amazes me how quickly he forgets about the two different ponds. He has “discovered” the differences between the ponds at least three times now. And he will doubtless discover it at least two more times
@ I wasn’t making fun of him, as I know that he’s got a lot to do, but you have to admit that it’s funny and may even become a running gag. I’m just enjoying the man’s job.
push-ups, jerd. not push pops. those were candy in a tube. Push-ups were sherbet in a tube. and were delectable. the texture was just right. i'd buy a whole gallon of that stuff if they sold it that way.
I find that games that have a significant number of customizable or randomized elements (such as Mario Party or Smash Bros) remain highly entertaining through multiple playthroughs, so yeah, I'd totally stay to see a winning run of this!
*Spoiler* The most important item or thing you can buy in this game, is heart pieces. Buy them at every chance you get them. You will find out why at the end. You also don't need to kill every enemy, sometimes it's better to run if it's not an essential enemy.
Oh nice, more Zelda but not the same as the videos on the gameplay channel. I'll refrain from spoiling the result of the Final Fantasy Feud video in case anyone here hasn't seen it yet, but I will say I watched it live, and it was fun!
Sucks that he's not reading chat. I'm sure they're sceaming at him during the bomb puzzle in the dwarf town (Edit: He figured it out himself! That's awesome!)
@@patu8010 I typed the original comment about halfway through the zone where it looked as if Jared was giving up, then miraculously he found the clue when he bombed the wall in the northern area. Not sure if he stumbled upon it himself or if he was indeed reading chat who were giving him hints.
More Attempts! If you do them offline just do the whole damn run as one video, Look to other YT playing Darkest Dungeon 2 and what not they have videos in the 3:30 to 4:00 range.
*spoiler* - - - - I can not believe you lose all your gear at the end and have to fight the boss vanilla. Like, I’m very glad I experienced this game second-hand like this, cause that would anger me.
Oh, cool, I'm glad you switched this to VOD format so I can binge 3 hours 😁 I was worried you had given up after you were struck down by the helmet-wearing Chihuahuas (or whatever they are?) on the other channel. I have a game suggestion: _No, I'm not a Human_ - it's a horror game with sorta retro-esque-looking graphics
Okay, now that you've seen the last boss I'm gonna say the most controversial thing about this game... the last boss fight is f'ing stupid and goes against everything Roguelikes are built for. In fact most of this game is very counter-intuitive, there's no saved progression progress, which means every thing from getting the letter, unlocking the king's treasure, etc has to be repeated each time else you're purposely nerfing yourself in future runs. It's really a kick in the dick to do all that work, open all the treasures you find, balance what items to keep/leave just for the end to be "git gud" dodging mechanics.
That said, the rest of the game is fun. There's still some secrets you've yet to find. As for hidden walls, push blocks, etc they're in the game, but how often they're hiding useful items isn't worth the effort, imo.
Great game, but boy, is so crazy unbalanced lol, not sure if is a feature or not. Many enemies late game look much easier than enemies from the start... Some curses are just absurdly crippling, and so on. You more or less make your own difficulty.
This comes from a place of pure curiosity. How do you not have time to game off camera? I hear from a lot of other creators that theyre running out of backlog to play since becoming a content creator. They all mention editing being a timesink but even they have a lot of time to play privately. Why are they blasting through the backlog but you barely play at all? Is it a disinterest or maybe other hobbies? I know personally I have to divide my hobby time between games and 40K models besides work and my wife of course. Again, this is purely out of just being curious.
Idk how I feel about that end fight... Seems like a cop out instead of a rewarding capstone for all your persistence. I went from being stoked to play this once the vod ended to writing it to being pretty meh.
Opening up youtube to see this mod 🥲 it made my day. I hope this can be and every now and then kind of stream. You should try metaphor if you can jared I've absolutely loved it and didn't even think about getting it till i tried the demo, and if your worried by the length of the game the story is I think just 60 hors and extra would be longer. Still a bit long but if you could play on the side I'd suggest it
You were so close! That was the best 1st try Agahnim I've ever seen!
I could happily watch you play this all day. Absolutely love this
Most people I couldn’t watch a 3 hour long video of in one day. Jared? Hell yeah. Lol

Awesome. Glad you are playing this more. I enjoy watching you play this.
Haha! Loved the Good Will Hunting reference at 9:00
Oh, thank god you played more of this! Gonna sit down for this one!!
Very glad that I can watch more of it I really liked it! Gonna watch this tonight 😍
What a good run, love to see more
The OG power thirst video - ruclips.net/video/qRuNxHqwazs/видео.html. This is fantastic!!!!!! Great run! Looking forward to the next one!
Yea!!!! I was waiting for you to come back to this one. Bring it!
Count dooku voice: Ive been looking forward to this
Oh hell yeah! I was hoping this would come back!
I would def watch more of these.
I was hoping to see at least one reaction to this iteration of Agahnim, definitely not disappointed in that regard. XD

My soul died when he threw the wishing stone into the zora pond...
I just hit that part. Same lol I was surprised it even let him do it.
god that was painful. it shouldn't let you do that.
Since we didn't get to see it, what does throwing the wishing stone into the wishing pond do?
@mostlyghostey It gives you two items, typically upgrades to sword or armors, otherwise it can also give you pendants or rods.
Wow! God gamer Jared. You were so close to beating it.
It would be cool to see you do more runs and maybe some different modifiers, too.

Jared is pro at "swording bones". Otherwise known as docking.
Deliverying the letter reminds me of a video game list i watched: missions you don't want to finish!
sweeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeet I loved this.
heck yeah more dungeon of inifintiy
I would love to see the end, but this run was great. Taking all your stuff at the end is kind of a cheap shot, but you had him on the ropes!
