If you like HypMic you con try check out Paradox Live! It’s similar (hot guys doing music:) ) and it also has an intricate storyline (check the comments under this, I’ll write it there). Right now it’s entering the third season, so there are quite a lot of songs and the story is very deep, with lots of flashbacks and sad backstories for the characters. Also, the whole thing is based on “stage battles” (music battles) between the groups, and the outcome is decided by the fans in real life (the sistem is pretty complicated, I’ll explain it under this comment).
Ok explanation number one: the story To keep it spoiler free I’ll try to keep it short The story in based in a future Japan, where some singers posses objects (jewellery, piercings or normal things like a knife lol) called Phantometals that helps them do “tricks” and “illusions” on stage when they perform. Bad side about the Phantometals? You need to have a deep trauma to use them (or they won’t activate) and they also give you very bad allucinations, panic attacks and even damage your body on the long run when you stop using them (for example, after someone does something on stage, they usually have a few minutes to search for a quiet place, hide there to wait for the simptoms to pass, and then they are good to go again). Also in this future there is a very famous club, Club Paradox, which hosts are the famous Buraikan, the first duo that ever used Phantometals. One day, 10 years before the beginning of the storyline, Club Paradox and Buraikan disappear without leaving nothing behind. (It was on a floating island btw) Fast forward, 10 years later Club Paradox reappears again and it sends out invitations to 4 groups to participate in a competition. The prize? 10 billion won and the chance to have a rap battle against Buraikan But there is something deeper other than that… Hope it was helpful :D

Also When you played the beginning to Shinogi deadpools i was hoping you played the rest. That beat is rocking and I can definitely feel an 2010s Wayne vibe when Samatoki raps. Rio hits a section 80 Kendrick flow to it. Its easily the most “rap” rap song that I have listened to in hypmic thus far. That being said I do like the lazy cheerful floe of Ramunda. Also the name Eazy R like. He doesnt take the approach of E, but name aside you can tell by the way he does rap that he has that inspiration. Its like both of them are just talking

It's a little vague in the manga. Yotsutsuji describes his relationship with Jakurai using a word that can mean getting taken under his wing or legal adoption. The latter is a safe assumption though.

They didn't really said it directly, but it's kinda heavily hinted that Jakurai might've legally adopted Yotsutsuji
