This movie was actually a lot better than I expected it to be. Not a classic by any means, but actually legitimately entertaining at times, combining Chan's trademark awesomeness, surprisingly lush cinematography at times, and for being one of the few movies to actually let Johnny Knoxville's more soft-spoken, sensitive side show, as he's actually somewhat endearing when he's able to play those kinds of moments.
This movie should be called Jackie and the Jackass.

Those saying Jackie is slowing down. Give the man a break. He's 62 years old and still doing action scenes that people half his age would break their necks in doing. Yes, he's using more stunt doubles for the more dangerous stunts now and more wire work than he used to. He's earned his place in the action movie gods hall. He doesn't need to prove anything anymore.

I have seen Jackie Chans movies since he was 18. From original Chinese movies to English subtitle VCR Videotapes, to translation English dub. It's amazing how far Jackie has gotten in his life and it saddens me to know how much I will miss his stunts and acting.

This is such a throwback to the 90's. Im kind of happy while at the same time knowing that this movie wont be good. More likely to watch because of the nostalgia of Jackie Chan movies. Im hoping they let him do the one shot fighting scenes he is known for.

While i would pay to see him fight like in the old days, i'm okay without because he is old now and cant really do all the stunts he use to do. Im just grateful he made the 90's action movie totally fun and dynamic even without explosions and robot. I'd watch Jackie any day than transformer or other michael bay movie
His 70's and 80's was easily his best. The early 90's were great, the rest of decade hit or miss (depending on tolerance for the US films) and he has made a few great films in the 00's/10's all in all though he is a cinematic icon

Seen this movie a few days back, I really enjoyed it, almost like his older movies (20yrs ago). Johnny Knoxville and Jackie play good parts, and work well together. For all who say he is getting old, well no sh*t aren't we all? Great movie for a Weekend wet weather movie for all ages to enjoy. 7/10 I give it.
