Mostly they help us to survive, in various avtar sometimes they lived like us, with pain & joy both…they are all real our Ramayan & Mahabharat are real events archeological proven that. In Hinduism Gods always give humans knowledge, wisdom soo that humans can have control on there hand how to live life fully. They have created 7rishi soo called Saptarishi or 7chirnjibi… they are responsible to bring those wisdom to all human in different time period.
When there was nothing in this world only Indus civilisation exists and they were soo developing civilians. I don’t think they were all dump enough to make this all fake stories when they can describe about multiverse. Soo I don’t believe Gods are Alien. Not proved by Hinduism. I don’t know about other religions. It’s all depends on archeological research and scientific fact. Maybe Annunakhi was a alien I seen this fact from different sites. Now it proven also. I’m not sure.
