I was born in 74. So much has changed since every family watched Walter Cronkite for their news.
People consider the absolute sheer stranglehold corporate including oil lobbyist have on the entire system. Don’t worry. I see below you don’t understand the timeline. I’ve been around a while. Whatever is the method these people are getting rid of a lot of us.
Can't believe the teenagers then do not cuss and I wish they were like that today too!
Oh please yes they did
60s, we only have 10 years of oil. 70s, we only had 10 years to next ice age. 80s, we had 10 years to stop acid rain. 90s, we had 10 years to fix the ozone layer. 2000, we had 10 years to stop ice caps from melting, 2010, we had 10 years before the coasts were flooded. 2020, we have 10 years to get to net zero CO2. Are we seeing a pattern here? 🤔
The ozone layer one was 100% legit. And the world came together and fixed the problem. Acid rain was also true, but was over blown by radicals so people think that one was a lie. Acid rain still happens in Chinese industrial areas.
@@blondie7240No the Ozone Scare was fake. Its n different than the fake Garbage patch in the ocean that doesn't exist.
The more co2 in the air the less water you need. Why are governments trying to control it?
@@blondie7240... Ozone layer 😂😂😂😂. What a joke that was, as is man-made climate change. 😂
@@rayparsa3069 you don't like data or statistics I take?
Awesome. History on film
pure bullshit on film with dishonest reporter to boot
The evidence about global cooling was just as staggering in the 1970s as the global warming evidence is today. I question the veracity of everyone’s claims.
That's what climate change means. In some areas it will be colder than usually and in other areas it will be warmer than usual. The climate has been thrown off balance which cause issues global.
No it wasn’t. There wasn’t a single scientific journal published that claimed global cooling was actually realx
@@roa3432you should rewatch the video. Or don’t. No one tries to understand.
@@roa3432 they changed from global cooling to global warming to climate change because they were wrong so often they just gave up. Pure bullshitters
3:15 why does it sound like she's reading someone else's script? "we, must, get ourselves.. into politics to ..change this system"
Who knew Walter Cronkite was a Bohemian Grove Elite!
What the fuck are you talking about?
Antifa and BLM could learn a thing or two about how to PEACEFULLY PROTEST from these guys.
You should preach that to the police officers who attacked innocent crowds during peaceful protests then.
Many of them were not peaceful...
There weren't Peaceful & the media was different back then.

Ahaha aha that’s because Massachusetts state troopers have what I like to call. A zero tolerance policy! You generally don’t see people mouthing off to a trooper. A Massachusetts state trooper will whip your ass with quickness. But in my personal experience. If you treat the trooper with respect and act civilized. The trooper will most always treat you the same. It’s simple really!
How sad, commenters aren't aware this day drastically improved the quality of air and water in our nation, we enjoy the fruits of one of the most beautiful environmentally protected areas on earth. The Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act, and other legislation (yes, the EPA) turned things around in a significant way. Don't politicize this
Can the student go home or take an obligation
Turn the system around
Single flight is 30,000 gallons of fuel. Don’t get me wrong I’m still flying. California is a hell of a walk from the Midwest.
Earth day
seeing all those people crowded together coughing like that is making me nervous
Ok
I enjoy that period in American history so much; the low tech especially.
Stephanie Mills kept words; it’s 2020, & she doesn’t have any children.
Tell us more about this Miss Mills character? Public service, like held office? Public business 'green' policies?
And now we are having a population decline problem.
I remember that very day this aired. More this was a time when most people were progressive & foreward thinking. People believed in science and womens rights back then. What has happened since then is sad
Do this people have a job
HUMANS should have listened 50 YEARS ago.
Nobody cares boomer.
Environmental pollution
bs even now in the news
