Im 70 and my generation got no help at all to. Attend Ivy league schools. We were intentionally discouraged and made to feel we couldn't compete. Im native American and early European mix. On the other hand, Kamala Harris was the anchor baby whose parents came illegally into the US, but they were all rewarded with free ivy league education and an entry into politics, and are now really rich. The are not African American, but Indian and Jamacan whose ancestors owned slaves. These are upside down policies.
